Reviewed by 16 customers Displaying reviews 1-16 I bought one year ago but they do not charge anymore I got these a year ago and have been using them pretty consistently since then. They're really nice and I love using them, but they have their quirks. The positives: -It works great with my phone and the music quality is really nice. The mic works decently for calls, though some people have said i sound far away -it's great to have a wireless set that i don't mind getting sweaty on. It feels like it's going to last through my workouts and i don't have to worry about it at all -The volume is good and i've never had a problem with it not being loud enough. -the transport controls for music work nicely -the battery life has never been a problem. Maybe i don't have long enough workouts, but i usually go a few workouts of 30-60min before i need to recharge. The warning that it is low on battery starts pretty early, too, so I've gone a good 20-30min of warnings without them shutting off. -They're lightweight and overall comfortable The negatives: -We have a pair of non wireless yurbuds and the earbuds on these are bigger than the others. this is because of the wireless electronics that are attached right outside your ear, but it does make them fall out a little easier. -The wire connecting the two ears is pretty stiff and doesn't flex well. This can be annoying at times when I'm running because if i turn my head it can dislodge one earbud from my ear because the wire puts pressure on it. -The silicone cover that goes into your ear seems to twist easily around the actual earbud. this has been annoying when I try to have it angled just right but then the movement of my head can rotate it as i'm running and it falls out or loosens up. They're really nice, overall, though, and i've found that if i wear a hat or headband i can tuck the wire up in there and not have to worry about knocking them out when I'm running. The audio quality is great and they're nice for use outside of just working out. I love them. I had a pair of Jaybird wireless and they just weren't loud enough for me.The headphones crank! I just bought them last week and I love the look and feel of the product. It also has excellent sound quality and they are super comfortable in your ear. I have read some people complain about them falling off. That is not the case with me. You just have to turn them a little once they go in your ear and they will never fall out. The ONLY complain I have is that you can't clip them to your clothes or anything. When not using the earphones and they just sit on your neck, you have to be careful that they don't accidentally fall off your neck because there is nothing you can use to hold or clip the earphones to. It happened to me once already. I dropped them and I didn't notice. Fortunately, I was able to find them where they had fallen. If they had a clip that you could use to clip them to your shirt, then they would be the perfect earphones! Amazing headphones for the gym or any outdoor activities I am an extremely active college athlete that uses the headphones every day for a long period of time. I listen to music all lunch long. I skate to work and wear them the whole there and the whole way home. I work out every day about two hours, I use them the entire time; and at night I take my two dogs on walks with them on. What's great? THEY'RE COMFORTABLE. Not like your typical earbuds that have to be shoved into your ear and become very irritating, the soft silicone make for a very comfortable fit that barely enter the tip of your ear in all the right ways i have worn them for hours at a time, NO IRRITATION. At first they kept falling out, I switched earpieces as they provide you with two sets, each are different sized. The little bigger ones I put on and they haven't fall off since. SOUND QUALITY. Incredible they are crisp and clear and there max volume is exceptional at first i was worried but what else should I expect from JBL. A LOT OF EASY OPTIONS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS. It takes about 5 seconds to turn them off and on. You can change song play by holding down the arrow buttons for 3 seconds in either direction. The volume can be adjusted by tapping the arrow buttons in either direction. The headphones can be paused by taping in between the two arrow buttons. Here's the kicker anyone with a smart phone like an iPhone or a Windows phone that has a personal assistant like SIri or Cortana. Leave your phone in your pocket and double tap in between the arrows as if to pause but instead of a single tap double tap. It brings your personal assistant and automatically goes to the microphone on you headset where you can give your personal assistant your basic command such as "call wife" or "text mom "i love and miss you how have you been" or "play Iration" (it will play all music from that band) or of course you can choose a specific song like "play Falling by Iration" On a side note everyone needs to play around with their phones person assistants, they can do A LOT now. BATTERY LIFE. Charging is quick, it takes about an hour and play time is well into 4 hours without turning them off or pausing them. They charge with the micro usb charger, most of you have one. Pretty universal cord same charger as almost every smart phone (except for Mac and now some Samsung products, lame they did that) so it will be easy to borrow a charger from someone if you forgot yours at home. DURABILITY. These headphones have taken the beating of a lifetime (I AM A BULL IN A CHINA SHOP). Although I don't beat them while not in use i have had them for six months and use them at least four hours a day. No problems with the cord getting tweaks and one headphone or the other going out as the cord is Kevlar coated and lies directly under your chin no snags unless you cut your own head off in which you cease to have use for the headphones. BLUETOOTH. Easy to hook up, takes seconds to pair. Once paired product every time your object that your using (whether it be computer or phone) is on just turn on the Bluetooth and then turn on your headphones and they automatically connect, and through the headphones you will hear "Connected". Stay within 20 yards of the product you're hooked up to and the sound doesn't even begin to break (keep your phone in your armband while working out, in your pocket regularly, or on your charger while cleaning and you'll be fine). Short comings? SILISONE EAR PIECES. They do fall off when headphones are not in use. Simple solution take them off when not in use and place them in the nice zipper bag they provide you with. AESTHETICS. The only thing I don't like is the bulkiness of the extension of the actual bud itself. Although I understand it serves a function to plug in the charging cable. I normally don't write reviews as I believe this is the first I have ever written. I just didn't want an incredible product to be misrepresented. JBL has the best sound quality and durability. Proved it again with these headphones. To start off this review, let's say I have tried almost everything. I loved the Yurbuds wired, they stayed on through the toughest workouts and wet weather. I wanted to move onto bluetooth and tried 5 different sets before I settled on the JBL Reflects. They lasted a year and were my favorite, but was unable to replace a missing earbud. These however rock. I missed the solid ear piece of the Yurbuds (and the ability to hear sonds around me...like car traffic!). So I tried the Yurbuds Leap Wireless. I had read the reviews about short life span...and I am not sure what is going with those folks. These rock! One month of crazy Virginia weather, and no issues. About 6 hours of battery life (as advertised). Stay in place, great sound. No distracting long cord. Pairs effortlessly with my Galaxy S5 and volume control through my Gear Fit. Let's see if they last a year or more. But so far...love them. The cord is too stiff and twists funny, but I haven't had any connectivity issues. I keep the ear buds and enhancers in the bag they came in so I haven't had any problems losing the enhancers. The sound quality is good and everyone can hear me clearly even when I'm outside on a windy day. The first month or two they stayed in my ear the entire time - I run 20-30 miles a week, but lately the side with the buttons keep falling out so I will be sending them a picture to see if they can help. I got these for Christmas and love them , not a 5 star rating because the enhancers keep coming off the phones and get lost !! I am having to replace them this is the 3rd set. Despite some of the reviews I saw on this site I decided to give them a try. I read the manual throughout before I attempted to use them and they worked just like they said they would. To power off all you have to do is follow the same steps you did to turn them on. They don't fall out of my ears, the sound quality is good, stay charged as long as promised, and I can make high quality calls on them. My only qualm is that they feel/look a bit bulky with them in. But they're wireless, so it's to be expected. love music when I run. I love the availability of wireless music even more. I'm always on the lookout for Bluetooth ear buds. Who has the best features. Price. Battery life. Track/call/volume control. About a month ago I picked up the Yurbuds Leap Wireless. The selling point for me was the guarantee that they would not fall out of my ears. That's a problem I've found with most wireless as well as corded ear buds. I wore them around my place. Shook my head a lot. They seemed secure. Unfortunately I didn't get to run with them until today. Cons. 1- I usually use a safety pin to attach ear buds to my shirt so if I decide to stop using music I can let the ear buds dangle without fear of losing the wireless versions. The downside of this with the Yurbuds is the noise that gets transmitted to the ears when the cord rubs on the shirt or safety pin. It's not bad while the music is up but when changing tracks or the volume is low it can get on your nerves. I removed the safety pin today and it definitely minimized the nose. 2- Heavy bass gets a bit distorted at higher volumes. And you know I like that bass. Pros. 1-They do not come out of your ears. 7 miles ran and never once did I have to reach up and push either side back into my ear. 2- As advertised 6 hour battery life. I've ran the battery down twice just wearing them around the house. I've had another brand that lasted 8 hours but they were higher in price and would not stay in my ears. 3- All music controls work well no matter what phone you have. A lot of ear buds cater to the iphone crowd. The Leaps work perfectly with my Android. I think I've finally found a pair I can get used to. Tracy R. Ellis I bought these for myself and my brother for when we lift. They work great. Light weight. Stay in the ear and don't make your ears sore after wearing them for 5 or 6 days in a row. The sound is good quality and work a decent distance from your phone. The only down side is sometimes the center of the control button (on/off/pause) is pretty hard to utilize without hitting the up/down volume. I bought the Leap Wireless after trying several competitors who's wireless buds would not stay put. Initially I had issues w/one of the buds falling out one ear. I switched to the larger size and I have not had any issues. I am a runner and weight lifter and have not had any issues w/them falling out. I have also worn them while doing insanity and they stay put. I have experience some discomfort but for me it's not worth an exchange out of fear the next product will not fit. I believe my only issue may be related to the wind hitting my mic and causing my music to go in and out. I turned off my phone's voice activation feature and hopefully the problem will be solved. I experienced one syncing issue where they would not pair. I solved the problem by telling my phone to forget the device. When I turned them back on the syncing issue was not existent. No further syncing issues. Powering on or off while wearing is challenging but I manage. I would prefer more bass but my previous yurbuds were not known for bass either. The cord is problematic so when I'm running I put it to the front. I don't have any issues with an additional loud sound like another reviewer experienced while the cord is to the front. All in all, I am happy with the product and would recommend them. I've had the Yurbuds for just a short time now but what a great product. It took a few attempts to find the right enhancers but once I did they fit perfectly. Great product! These were bought as a gift for a weight lifter, so far they have been awesome!
