Comments about Womens New Balance 1500v1 Running Shoe:
I haven't worn New Balance shoes in a decade, but when my previous favorite road shoe was discontinued, it was time for a change. I saw these in Runners World magazine and found them comparable in terms of weight (VERY light) and drop, which was the main reason I wanted to try them - they were the same drop as my old shoes. I've worn them on a few training runs including a 16 miler, and I plan to wear them during my upcoming Boston Marathon. They are extremely comfortable (I add an insole in all of my running shoes) and I love the colors (orange and purple). I'm looking forward to wearing these in the next several marathons I have scheduled this year, and hopefully New Balance will not drastically change them or discontinue them in the near future!!
