Best Uses
I love this shoe. I used to wear the pureflows but I needed more stability. For some reason I never tried these. I've been wearing a bunch of other stability shoes that are heavier, but this one gives me the best support, probably because it doesn't alter my gait and holds my feet snugly in place. If a shoe is too wide, it causes me to pronate, even if the shoe is a stability shoe. This shoe fits very nicely and wraps the foot really well. I would recommend these for runners with an efficient gait but who need some stability.
Pros Cons Best Uses bought these shoes and wanted the same satisfaction as the Cadence 3... not so. The tongue on left shoe shifts to the left. The right tongue ,shifts to the right. The back of the shoe is higher than the Cadence3,that being said can be annoying. Called the Brooks company. I was told a new and improved Pure cadence will be on the market this Feb.2016.

I am 54 years old and pronate enough that I need a stability shoe. If I wear a neutral shoe, my ankles usually hurt from pronating. I was looking for a lighter, faster shoe and found the Pure Cadence and have worn them exclusively for over 2 years now! The tongue is connected on the medial (arch) side and it corrects my pronation. They are super light and very cushioned. I wear them to train and race. I think they are true to size and there is enough room in the toe box that I don't feel restricted.
