Best Uses
I run 50 to 60 miles a week and these shoes are perfect as daily trainers. Comfortable, durable, and a low offset. The only problem is that the shoe is stiff the first few miles, but that goes away quickly. I highly recommend these shoes, especially sense they're less than $100.

Best Uses I have run in every version of the Kinvara, and regulary run 40-60 miles per week. I've worn them in several marathons. Though some versions (including the 6) have improved the durability of the shoe, I've seen it migrate from a truly minimal shoe to more of a classic cushioned neutral shoe. The toe box on the Kinvara 6 is especially limiting. I have narrow feet to begin with, but the Kinvara 6 really pinches my forefoot and feels extremely restricting. I won't be buying another set of Kinvaras ever again.

Cons Best Uses I thought the Kinvara 5 was a perfect shoe for me and still would be, but the Kinvara 6 is just as good with a little added stability and cushioning, without interfering with the natural feel of the Kinvara 5. By that, I mean the roomy forefoot and snug heel with only 4 mm elevation, so that you can run on your mid- or forefoot comfortably. The benefit of the Kinvara 6 is that you can run slow or fast, and it still works. I had an Achilles' tendon injury, so I had to change my running style, and that meant going very slowly for a while (short, quick mid- to forefoot strides) and strengthening my "posterior chain" (calves, hamstrings, and glutes). In order to relearn good form, I had to do intervals at a good pace. These shoes allowed for that, too. In particular, I like that Saucony kept the lace-tight feature that allows you to keep the upper laces snug and the lower laces around the forefoot loose. The additional cushioning does not interfere with the road feel of the shoe or the toe off. You still get a nice ride with just a bit more protection. These have held up very well and are cool running on those hot days.

I love this shoe. I have been training and racing in Kinvara for a number of years now. I have run two Boston marathons in this shoe and the Kinvara 6 is even better than the earlier models. Great fit, great performance!! The only thing I question about Kinvara is the durability of the shoe. It seems that my Knvara 5s did not last as long as they should have. They toe box area started to tear after only a couple of months or a couple of 100 miles. I have not had the 6s for that long so only time will tell. Bottom line, is that I love this shoe and it fits me perfect. I have tried other shoes but always come back to the Kinvara. I have also recently purchased the A6 for a racing flat and it fits much like the Kinvara. Only time will tell on the durability of the shoes but will follow up with another post after my next marathon.
