Cons Best Uses
This is my Second (2nd) Pair of SALOMON TRAIL Shoes Purchased during 2015. Currently, I RUN/WALK/HIKE over Twenty-Eight (28) Miles per Week, Rotating Daily within (i) ASICS, (ii) PUMA, and/or (iii) SALOMON. The MATERIAL & WORKMANSHIP on the X-SCREAM 3D are Excellent. The GECKO GREEN & Bright RED are BOLD and Eye-Catching and elicit numerous Positive Comments! Both my X-MISSION 2's and my X-SCREAM 3D's have a DROP of 10 mm, which I Prefer! At a Weight of 10.6 Ounces (300 GRAMS) per Running Shoe, the X-SCREAM 3D is 0.4 Ounces Heavier than my X-MISSION 2 at 10.2 Ounces (290 GRAMS). With my High ARCHES, I found the X-MISSION 2 to be somewhat NARROW and also TIGHT in the TOE BOX, so for the X-SCREAM 3D, I decided on One-Half Size larger. For me, in TRAIL RUNNING, the very Sophisticated Technological Innovation of the "ONE-PULL TIGHTENING" QUICK-LACE SYSTEM makes the difference over my ASICS GEL-SCOUT and my PUMA FAAS 500 TR (TRAIL)!
