Comments about Womens Brooks Neuro Running Shoe:

I normally wear a 7.5 in other brands, havent worn brooks in a long time. I read the reviews before ordering and decided to go with a size 7.0. an wow are these narrow. I consider my foot to be pretty average and most (B) width shoes are fine or too wide. But these are real narrow. they also have a defect wrinkle in the right upper. I like the shoe alot comfort-wise and see they dont offer it in a wide. so I may try the 7.5 to see if that is enough width relief without being too long.

Comments about Womens Brooks Neuro Running Shoe:

I read a few really new reviews elsewhere (these comments weren't here when I first ordered mine). They suggested the shoes were longer/wider than usual. I ordered my normal size (9.5) in Brooks and they were much too long - the toebox was also much wider. I called Brooks and talked to a rep; explained and ordered a half size smaller. MUCH better. Very well cushioned, in the right places. Good for the road, I took a partial road, gravel road run, not as good there. I really enjoy the feel, but they still feel a bit wide...I love the fit of the Pure Series, so I may be adjusting to the new fit. They ARE warm, they don't seem to breathe quite as well. I DO love the comfort and glide...truly a great feel under the sole. I just wish they were a tad more narrow. Buyers beware, they run long. I'd rate 4/5...I run - casual fun runner 15-20 miles per week with occasional 5,10k's and more. I usually wear Pure Grits/Pure Flows. I have to return the 9.5's, the 9's fit much better.

Comments about Womens Brooks Neuro Running Shoe:

I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing-I recommend RRS change the warning directing customers to size up.

I usually wear a 7.5B in Brooks and other shoes. I went with the recommendation and purchased half size up. They were over an inch too long-I went for a Few miles to see if maybe it was just the pods-no, they just run large. However, I am fully confident these shoes, in the proper size, will be an excellent addition for any runner's regular shoe lineup for training or racing.

The "hammock system" allows the shoe to perfectly hug the width of your foot. The pods add a pep to your step-I am usually a plodder with horrible stride, but my stride felt more deliberate and efficient despite the sizing issue. The shoe also absorbs impact while traveling down steep hills.

        Brooks makes me happy

Comments about Womens Brooks Neuro Running Shoe:

I wear Brooks size 9.5 in the Pure Series and the Glycerin; pretty consistent fit in all. However, I purchased a 9.5 in the Neuro and they were too long and too wide. I had to drop down to a 9. Toe box is roomy - almost too roomy - I stopped 3x's my first run to adjust and tighten. In fairness, I like to wear a thin sock and perhaps a thicker one will take up a bit of the gap. My feet get very hot so not sure how I will like that in the summer heat. COMFORTABLE runner though ! I was amazed at how it felt underneath - the tongue had just a touch of padding, not too much...extremely lightweight. Perfect for my 5 miler today. But be aware that if you have a narrow foot, these may be too wide. I have a Med-Wide foot and the toe box is looser than all my other Brooks; and it is not a snug fit I am used to with the Pure Series. I rate them a 4 only because of the wide toebox.

Comments about Womens Brooks Neuro Running Shoe:

I can recommend but I have VERY sensitive BLISTER prone feet and LONG toes. I buy Armaskin neoprene blister free socks from Australia which work well for me but are expensive. I can't wear a shoe with a short or low toe box. My toes bruise even if I get a longer shoe in another brand, shoe--toe box, drop and sox are major. I have 3 different BROOKS shoes and all work well for me. I have at least found my brand. I have however, gone back to the old fashioned Dr. Scholes double Air Pillow insoles. None of the fancy for runners insoles have a flat puffy cushion that goes from front of foot to heel and after all these years that is what I have found. I am a 69 year old woman who does the 1/2 marathons.
