I told them my issues with "hammer toes" while I run. They haven't solved my problem. The material is a cotton blend which holds moisture in worse than other materials. Used to get blisters during my marathons - switched to these and never get them. I am a size 7 shoe (7.5 in a running shoe) and get the x/s - s in the Women's. They do an xs/s in the unisex ones but for some reason they are much longer in the toe and bunch up when running so if your female I would always go for the Women's specific version.
