These are amazing running shoes, great fit and comfort right out of the box, no hot spots, no numb toes, no break in period. I have a narrow heel and high arch and like plenty of room for the forefoot and toe box. These shoes feel like they were made for my feet. My only disappointment is rumor has it that Pearl Izumi is going to quit making running shoes in 2017. Seriously, I've been running for almost 40 years and these are the best shoes I've ever had. Hope the company gets this message and keeps making their running shoes. My trail shoes are Pearl Izumi, too, which is why I decided to buy the road shoes.
