Cons
Best Uses I've owned Amphipod products over the years with various levels of satisfaction. I purchased this specifically for the big pocket, 10 oz water bottle capacity, and race tag accessory option. The belt is cute and very customizable. I love the buckle design (versus the older Velcro), and the pocket is super functional. It holds my iPhone Plus a vase, plus my inhaler, keys, and card with room to spare. There's also more gel slots than I could use even in a full marathon. However, packing it full makes it bounce, no matter where I wear it or place the pouch. The water bottles do not leak, are easier to drink out of than previous models, and once you get the feel of it, are easy to click in and out. But they bounce, particularly when full, horribly. To the point where they've chaffed the top of my shorts where the belt has to sit to minimize bounce. I find that if I wear the bottles sideways (vs upright) just above my hips and the pocket on the front, this somewhat minimizes the bouncing (also, it decreases with the amount of liquid in them). The problem with wearing it this way is that the race tag accessory Amphipod sells (which is very, very cheap with limited functionality in the first place), can't be put on the front because the race bib won't stretch across the pocket. Adding two elastic straps and toggles to the pocket would have easily solved this issue. I wear this belt over my others only when I need the higher fluid capacity and it's to hot to put on my vest. Given the price, I wouldn't recommend this unless belt unless you plan to wear it without the water bottles.
