Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Just to be clear, this is a racing shoe, or a speed work shoe for some. I only wear this shoe during hard workouts and races. It is a fantastic race shoe. I just wore it two weeks ago in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and my feet have never felt so good after a marathon. Normally, my feet are all beat up, but not in this shoe. I'm so glad Hoka makes these. It has also lasted much longer than most racing flats I have worn. For other training I wear the Clifton.

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: My son is a high school cross country runner who likes a low-drop shoe, but his mom wants him to have some cushion. We both won when we went into our local store and discover the Tracer. The only problem- they didn't have the women's version for a couple of weeks after we got his. I waited patiently, while he raved about his new shoes.

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I did my first Ironman marathon with the Tracer. these shoes are awesome. My feet felt very comfortable all the time, I did not get blisters or anything bothering me. I also own a pair of Constant 2, but when I race with them my feet end up super beat up but not with the Tracers. The Tracer shoes are more to be used for races and hard workout training. For my other regular runs I will continue using the Constant.

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I wasn't sure if Hoka's were right for me being used to a more minimlist looking shoe. When I saw the Tracer I thought I would give it a go. From the first run I knew I had made a good choice. I can't believe how much better my legs and hips feel already. have since done a few more runs and they feel great, very comfortable, breathable, light, and no pain afterwards in legs, calves or hips. I've found my new shoe and very happy!

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: This is a great light weight running shoe with the traditional Hoka padding. It has a better look because it's sleeker and not so bulky. I use them for my half marathon training. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes haven't given me any problems at all.

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I bought these at the San Diego Rock & Roll Expo and was a bit leery in racing in them right away. I ran the half marathon in these and zero problems! They have a very soft upper, low profile around the ankle that I love and a very responsive feel. I have a neuroma and bunion and they did not bother me at all with these shoes!

Best Uses Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I want to love this shoe, since I'm in a desperate search for my next ultra marathon shoe. I loved the Kailua, but Hoka discontinued (probably because it was SO durable). So far, the Tracer feels like a bedroom slipper. Not much stability, which is a good thing. Plenty of room to wiggle the tootsies and no sense of confinement. I can feel the various structures of my feet moving independently, which is a 180 from the Speed Instinct. Oddly, I've worn the Tracer on 3 runs for a total of 16 miles, and the bright pink color is bleeding into the neon green! I'm in Florida, and it's humid, for sure. I sweat a bunch, too, so I was careful to take a small rag with me to dry my legs off, periodically, since I wasn't sure if I'd be sending the shoes back. In other words, I was making an extra effort to take good care of the shoes. I've never had running shoes bleed color before!Maybe purchase one of the other color options that has a tongue the same color as the rest of the shoe?
Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I was affraid to try Hoka one one, as the llooked big and heavier than my newton. But when the tracer came out I decided to give them a try, and I couldn't be happier, now I want to try all pair of Hoka's. They are very light, and you do feel a difference in support while running without modifing your technique.

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: These shoes are really, really comfortable and fit my feet perfectly. I haven't worn them a bunch yet, so I can't say much about the durability. Overall, they're great - lightweight and so comfy!

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I'm loving these shoes. I'm a Division II XC and Track athlete and I got Hoka's because I've been struggling to increase my mileage beyond 45-50 miles a week without getting hurt. I've been told that I run with better form while I'm barefoot, so I chose these because they are smaller on the bottom so I could maybe still feel my foot with the ground and therefore run less weird. I did a tempo workout in these and it felt great because these shoes work well at faster paces. One thing I did notice is that the traction on these shoes isn't great. Other reviews said they are narrow, especially in the toe box, but I have a pretty narrow foot so I didn't have issues with that. I'm still recovering from a shin injury so I haven't been able to see if they help me with higher mileage, but I love these shoes so far. Not to mention, they look so cool. Whenever I wear them I feel so legit.

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Very lightweight and comfortable during a run
Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Love these shoes. They are very lightweight but have enough cushion to make running more enjoyable. Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Love these shoes! I was hesitant initially to purchase something so different from what I was already running in but, these shoes have changed my running for the better. A great shoe for transitioning to more of a forefoot running style. These shoes have kept me injury free and quickened by pace. Running a marathon in them this weekend! Pros

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: This is my second pair of Tracers and I'm glad I found them. The lower profile vs. other Hoka shoes are just my style. I have skinny ankles and am of small frame, so the more substantial Hoka shoes are just too clumsy for me. I use the Tracers for up to 10 mile runs, no trail running. The Tracers are supportive yet are very responsive, allowing for endurance runs and speed work. The tongue is exceptional - just a small whiff of a tongue to hold everything in place - no bulk. The shoe fits well - not too tight, and not too roomy.
Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I was looking for a new lightweight shoe for spadework with cushioning because I have some issues with the ball of my foot. I'd been running in the Clifton 3 and it was the only shoe that did not make my foot hurt, so I tried the Tracer. It did not prevent the recurring pain from happening, but once my foot started to get better, the shoes felt good. It's a little snug in the toe box, but I think that helps to make it feel very secure on my foot. I did a 20-mile training run in them, but think they will do better for shorter distances and shorter races.
Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: This is the shoe of my dreams. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because I reserve that rating for the clifton 1.
Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Did not like the Tracer at all. Although this shoe is lightweight, it was very narrow in the toe box. I also did not like the leather tongue, even though lots of people like that aspect the Hoka thin tongue. I had to return these shoes immediately as it did not feel as supportive in terms of cushioning. Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Great shoe. Light weight and comfortable. Pros

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: So I usually don't write reviews but got these for a recent half marathon I was running and they far exceeded my expectations. I was always hesitant to buy Hoka's due to the bulky style. When the low profile came out I thought I would try them. Usually running half marathons my have an issue with my toes going numb. Not once during this last race did I experience this. I had not done any training in them and ran 13.1 right out of the boxes. I would definitely buy another pair in a heart beat
Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I've stayed away from Hokas because of the profile - always felt like a lot of shoe for me to turnover. I love the Tracers because they provide a more comfortable profile for me. They are also a bit more firm than other Hokas I've tried on, which is something that works better for my running form. Pros

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Initially I was very excited to try the Tracer. Even though it is lightweight and streamlined, it was way too narrow compared to my Hoka Clifton 2. I was very disappointed. Not enough room in the toe box, it was stiff and unresponsive. It felt like I was running in minimalist shoes. I would recommend sizing up or trying a different Hoka model. Had to send it back.

Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: I had a pair of Hokas last year-the Cliftons-that I tried to like but couldn't. That shoe felt too thick, like it was too much shoe for me to turnover. One pair of my shoes in my rotation needed replacing, so I thought I would give the Tracers a try. It was a lower profile and lighter than the Clifton. So far, I think these are great shoes. I've only put 11 miles on them, but 9 of those came in one run. They provide cushion without being too soft. I think I'm a fan!
Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Great for longer runs. Cushioned and neutral. Runs true to size. Excellent for racing as well. Comments about Womens Hoka One One Tracer Running Shoe: Super lights, and enough cushion!
