Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I really like the feel of this shoe, but I have some trouble with my metatarsal bone and need a wider shoe. This one is too narrow for me. Otherwise it is a great shoe.

Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I've been running in this shoe for the last month, and honestly, it just gets better with time. The Everun midsole makes the ride smooth, yet snappy and responsive. The ISO Fit and the upper are comfortable and can conform to my feet without having to tie the laces down tight. The toe-box is spacious. I went hp a half size from my nike air zoom elite's and it was a great fit. When I paired the shoes with my custom inserts the RRS in lone tree, it created the most enjoyable yet enduring run that I can remember.

    Best Shoe I've ever Worn

    By Luke

    from undisclosed

Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

Probably the best shoe I have ever run in. Midsole is just right. Upper is perfect. I've run in many pairs of Kinvaras, and the Freedom Iso is like a much nicer Kinvara in my opinion. It is softer but also more responsive somehow. Highly Recommend for you neutral runners. FYI I'm a 5'5", 118 lb male, so this is plenty of shoe for me. Might not be the case for others. Also, it does run small. I'm an 8 in Kinvaras and 8.5 fits me perfect.

Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I was looking for a light weight shoe for an upcoming marathon. I have worn the same Asics road show for more than 12 years. I tried the shoe on in the store and knew it was perfect. Out of the box I ran 5 miles and the shoe was comfortable and performed well. My body is sensitive to changing shoes (I've tried to break away from my Asics many times) and I always go back. Not this time. These are perhaps the most comfortable shoes I've worn. At a little over 9 ounces they're perfect for distance and speed. I do not know how they will wear, but I will stick with this shoe.

Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

They are light and very comfortable. Because I have a history of some Achilles' tendon problems I usually have to have a much heavier highly cushioned shoe to run pain free, but these give me all the cushion I need. I highly recommend them. They run small, so order a full size larger than your non-running shoe.

Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

So far, I have only run one six mile easy run in these, but I can already tell that this is a great shoe for me. I love the all-TPU midsole (Saucony calls it EVERUN). My other shoes also have an all-TPU midsole (Adidas calls it BOOST). Going forward I plan on using both the Saucony Freedom ISO and Adidas Ultra Boost ST shoes for my training runs and races. The Freedom ISO's definitely don't feel like they have as much cushion material underneath (which they don't from a thickness perspective), but they still feel very well cushioned. I like that you can feel the road a little more, plus they feel lighter, so these will likely be my go-to shoes for speed and tempo workouts as well as 5k & 10k races. The Ultra Boost ST's will be used for my easy and longer runs. I'm not quite sure which ones I will use for a half marathon race as I think either one may be fine.

For sizing, I have always had success by going with the RRS recommendations based on my street shoe size (a consistent 10 for me). For the Saucony Freedom ISOs, however, I think they missed the mark. They state that they should be 1/2 size above street shoe size, but when I ordered 1/2 size up (10.5), they were definitely too small. I then ordered size 11 (a full size above my dress shoe size), and these fit perfectly.

Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I really wanted to give this shoe 5 stars. I have been looking for something that has a bit more than the Kinvara, but still felt light and fast. I loved the ISO system on the Zealot and the Triumph and was looking forward to the ISO in a lighter less built up shoe.

The full foot ever-run sole feels awesome! Great spring and cushion without slowing you down. Felt great on a 17 miler last week.

The only problem, at least for me, is the fit. Obviously this is a personal thing and for others the fit will be perfect. But at least for me, the fit is different than other Saucony shoes. Most Saucony's fit me perfectly at 11.5. In the Freedom the 11.5 was too narrow so I got the 12 which works but does not fit as well as other Saucony's in 11.5. They seem a bit narrower than other Saucony's I have worn.

I still think it is a great show and probably still the best option for me for a high milage trainer for now, but just know that if you are used to some other Saucony shoes, the fit might be different.

Comments about Mens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

So, I was looking for comfort and I got what I was looking for. I took it for an 11mi run yesterday and I liked the feel. I have been running on Newton Distance in the past, but decided to get a shoe that is not too harsh on the soleus/calf muscle. This shoe fills that void. If I were to change something on this shoe, I would say, make it lighter.

90 days out from a meniscus surgery and with my Huricanes it takes 3 to 400 meters to get knee to start letting me take a normal stride. 1st run with these as a pre-workout was 2 mile with 20lb vest and had normal stride with first step. So for me they are awesome. I also pronate a little and felt that these worked better for me that a pronation shoe. I also felt a little faster in my run than before but didn't time it so not 100% sure. They definitely seem to propel you forward though.

Amazing shoe from a feel standpPint. Definite spring and cushioning in the sole that will be great for long longs. The shoe itself is very light and well constructed and truly fits like a slipper. I wear an 8 in star saucony shoes and the 8 also right size for me in this shoe. I'm interested to see what other colors they come out with.
