Not a fan

I wanted to love these shoes. A bit too much cushioning for me. I had trouble getting the laces tied correctly and ended up with pain on top of my foot. Had to send them back.

Great all around running shoe for short or long distances

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I have been waiting for Saucony to make a shoe with a 4mm drop - not zero but just enough to be close to a zero drop with cushion. I was running in Newton's for the past 4 years because they have a 2-4.5mm drop shoes which I love but I need more cushion. I need a cushion shoe that is still neutral. This is the shoe. I put 450 miles on the first pair with no issues and the shoe broke down slowly. I run on asphalt rolling hills regularly and a dirt/gravel trail for long runs. They work great on both surfaces. This is my 2nd pair and I still love them. I am battling plantars and piriformis syndrome. These shoes have helped heel both over the last few months as I am training for a fall marathon. I will wear them in my upcoming marathon in November.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

These shoes are incredible. Brand new out of the box and I ran 13.1 miles without any pain or discomfort. Fairly light weight, low drop, large toe box and with plenty of cushion. Function beautifully and feel fantastic. I usually buy a size larger in running shoes, but I went up a whole 1.5 sizes in this particular shoe (I was told they run a bit small). No complaints and highly recommend.

I wanted a pair to alternate with narrow shoes or late in the day, wearing heavier socks. I bought inserts to add a bit of filling. My feet, ankles, toes and back ached after only a few runs on alternating days. The lacing system is awkward and can't be made tight enough. It is hard to find shoes over size 10 that fit for a narrower foot with Morton's toe!

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I wasn't impressed by these shoes at all. They were not as comfortable as I expected them to be. I was expecting more cushion and support. The size does not go along with the Sauconys I've worn before. I read to order a size up so I did but they still were not a good fit. I sent them back and now have to pay an extra $10 just to be refunded.

These shoes are great if you have narrow feet or no difficulty with feet swelling while jogging. Unfortunately, my toes went numb while jogging in these. Otherwise, these shoes are great.

First time buying this shoe. Have yet to run in it yet though, because it runs small. TrueFit says I am a 9.5, as I am in Asics, but it does say on this site that for this shoe to order a whole size up. I don't think that is necessary, but I will need the 10 instead. I hope that one fits...or I will be so sad.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

These shoes felt wonderful when I first put them on, but they are horrible to run in. The shoe feels like it has no structure and the cushioning is super squishy. Definitely regret throwing out the box before I went for a few runs in them. Already replaced these with a pair of Brooks Glycerin 14's. Will likely just donate the Freedom ISO's.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

Very disappointing, the size does not correspond to the sizing of other Saucony shoes. You should go at least one size up from the size you usually order. Size USA 10,5 is more like a 9,5 or 9.

Great cushion. Love how shoe hugs the foot. But running a little short and narrow through toebox. I had to change socks to make it fit properly because the next size up was too big.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

Love saucony as I have wide feet and I find them comfy. This new shoe however is extremely soft on the heel, which gave me pain after my run. It's like a mattress for your feet, way too soft and bouncy.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I bought this shoe to try to transition into a lower heel-toe drop shoe. It is taking some getting used to but so far I am liking the feel. It is light and feels fast. Beware, if you are used to running in the more traditional models, the lower heel drop will take a lot of getting used to. I rotate this shoe in with my other shoes and run in them 3 times per week. They feel great but I have yet to get past 30 minutes in them.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

Loved almost everything about this shoe except the fact it is a quarter size too small for me. It's listed as a level 3 cushion but I certainly could use it for anything but the longest runs. Nice looking, upper is very comfortable, I found the lacing system to be great. I absolutely would have kept this shoe except for the sizing. I could have gotten away with it a bit short for shorter runs, but not for longer or hilly ones, so I returned it. Going 1/2 size up was just a bit too big. I wear an 8.5 in the Kinvara 7, for reference.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

I love these. I like a more minimal/lightweight shoe. I have run in them and workout as well. A great shoe that will work for me on my runs and in the gym too. I do not run as much as I used to but I don't think I'd have a problem putting more mileage on them. I did have to order a little bigger but I always do in running shoes. After my last Saucony was discontinued, glad to have a pair I love on my feet! The only thing I'd wish for is a little more arch support.

Comments about Womens Saucony Freedom ISO Running Shoe:

So I've been in the hunt for a light weight, high milage trainer and thought these would be perfect. I've constantly been the same size in Saucony shoes for years, so anticipated there being no sizing issue. I tried these on and found that they ran at least a good 1/2 size short and were narrow. I don't have wide feet, so it was odd that I felt (and it looked like) my feet were spilling over the sides of these a bit. Not sure what's going on with Saucony's sizing, but these were 'off.'

Now, they were super light weight and low-profile. If you are someone who doesn't like your ankle being rubbed, these will be great. They were squishy soft, but not overly so (like a cushion-focused shoe). The fly-knit like upper is likely super breathable and flexible.

I can totally see others giving these 5 stars, but I was disappointed with the Saucony sizing issue since they are usually really consistent. Back they go to RRS.
