I LOVE these shoes. They are THE BEST. Like other reviewers, I keep coming back to them after I try others. I actually ran Boston in a pair of these!I have a narrow heel and a wide forefoot, high arch, and they fit perfectly right out of the box. Never any issues with blisters, toe numbness, or joint pain as long as I stick with these. Adidas, please don't stop making them!

Love these shoes! I try other running shoes periodically and keep coming back and buying these; they fit my feet so perfectly. My feet are narrow through the heel, but wide through the toebox; I have a high arch, but am a heavier runner. I've never had a blister, numb toes, or sore arch while wearing these. I recommend them to anyone with my foot type.

Put these shoes on and started running without skipping a beat. So cushy that running on pavement feels like a sponge. I also love all the toe box room.

I'll stick to my 2A asics cumulus from now on, but this pair makes a serviceable backup. They are so wide in the toe box I end up lacing them too tightly. Cushioned but feels bulky for a neutral shoe.

I have been running on various other brand name shoes for 20yrs and have had issues with knee pain for the past 9 yrs until I wore these shoes. These are the best shoes I have ever put on and pain free in the knees!

These are the BEST running shoes! I have run in these for the past few years (ever since I started running). A couple of times I tried some other shoes and they couldn't compare. I have never had a blister or any issues with my Boston Classics. They have to make these forever. LOVE 'EM!!!

Have run in these shoes for YEARS. Many marathons and tons of 1/2's. I keep occaisionally trying new brands 'cuz I think I ought to and am always reminded that these are my favorites when the new brands disappoint. Not one blister, ever. I'm considered a big runner at 5'11" but these shoes hold up and support me mile after mile with enough cushioning.....

I'm about to purchase 2 more pair of the Boston, this will be my 31 and 32 pair, I've run 9 out of 10 marathons in this shoe (the exception was big mistake) they feel good after every race, I never want to take them off. I hope adidas keeps this shoe around for years to come.

I love this shoe. I've been wearing them for years and have worn them for over 250 ultramarathons and marathons. I run about 80 miles per week. I wish Adidas would use this shoe as a base for a trail shoe. It's the perfect shoe for a neutral runner.

I just purchased my 3rd pair of these shoes. I only run about 4 miles 3x's a week so they last me a long while. They are great, even better now that they are not lime green! The 1/2 size extra seems right too.

love these sneakers, and buy them over and over. i have narrow feet and these are perfect. the 1/2 size up seems correct - i wear the 7, and typically wear 6 1/2 shoes.

Just started to run in them a couple of days ago. I sized up as recommended and they fit a bit too roomy but not a problem, I hope.

This shoe is great for three maybe four mile runs, but after that my knees begin to ache. I run on pavement though. They are a good back up pair.

I've been a runner for almost 30 years, and I can honestly say that these are the best-fitting and most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. My high school daughter (cross country runner) just bought a pair to try, and is also in love with the Bostons. We have narrow heels, semi-high arches, and an average forefoot. Both of us have always had a ton of trouble finding shoes that don't slip in the heel (even when using a variety of lacing techniques.) Please do not discontinue this shoe!!!

Can't wait to really have a chance to run in these shoes. Got them today and they feel great. I have narrow feet with simi high arches. Great fit in the toe box and heal!!!! I do agree about the color though, AHHH who picked that? It was worth buying anyway but I do have to say the color is to be desired.

I've worn these shoes since high school (I'm in graduate school now) and I would never wear anything else. I wear mine about 1/2 - 1 size bigger than I usually do, but they're perfect for me. I have a narrow foot with medium-high arches and I competed in cross country for 9 years and never had an injury.

The cushioning is great but I'm having knee pain for the first time and the arch doesn't fit my foot. With the right width it might have worked.

I have worn this shoe for 3 years. I am a "filly" runner and have a somewhat high arch. I run about 20+ mi/wk, and have run 2 marathons, 3- 1/2 marathons, and 3-15k in these shoes. They've been great for every single race!

Great shoe, but the White/Lime color is awful. Waiting for a new color before I buy my next pair.

Great cushioning & perfect fit (no sliding, no pinched toes). A 133 lb, high arched 20+ per week runner, I usually wear Asics cumulus or nimbus. These accomodate my toes better, and they are just as cushy, if not cushier. I'm training for my first marathon and I think these are the shoes I'll cross the finish in.

I've gone through a few different shoe models and these are the only ones that don't ever give me blisters, even after long runs or when they are brand new. Hopefully they won't be discontinued any time soon.

Love this shoe! I've worn these for years and would never go to anything else. (I'm a lightweight runner with medium arches who is training for a marthon.) I love the cushion you get as well as the flexibility. I usually buy my next Boston Classics between 350-400 miles - that's when I notice that the cushioning wears out. Then the old Bostons become my everyday shoes. What also is great about the shoes is the price - about 30-40 bucks cheaper than the high-end Addidas and these work just as well. I use these for training and racing.

25-30 mile per week runner with a small frame and high arches. Replacing my second pair. Perfect support, weight and breathability. Cushion is the first thing to wear out, last around 600 miles.

I am training for a 50 miler and thought I would trade in the Boston Classic's that I have been running in for 3 years for a "better" shoe. After trying on several other brands I found myself back in the Boston Classic shoe! I will never stop using them as long as I can run! Great shoe.

I love this shoe. I knew I was getting ready for a new pair, but my 1 year old Border Collie decided to speed up the purchase. Not only does the shoe hold up to high milage, but it also holds it's own as a chew toy!

I have always bought Brooks but saw the high ratings so tried this show. I was amazed at how loose the heel fit. My heel slid when I simply walked in them. I ran with them twice and have some pretty mean blisters. I also noticed that these shoes fit very tight. The shoes also caused my feet to slap the pavement.

Love this shoe. Run nearly 500 miles and it still has cushion and support. Just ordered a new pair. I'm a supinator and my feet reall feel great in these shoes. I'm a 50-60 mile/week runner, and I love the shoe. On my third pair.

Love these shoes. I use them for speed workouts. Very comfortable and light. I alternate with the Supernova Cushion. Only problem I have with them is the tongue slides around some when running. Very good shoe for fast workouts and even racing if you dont want a road flat.

I am on my second pair and they still feel great. I noticed a slight difference in the feel of the heel cup area of my current pair, which are the mostly blue model shown on this website as well. I thought about trying another brand, but I figure this one works so well for me, so why change. I have narrow, low volume feet with medium to low arches, and I like to swap out the laces for yankz. I am 6'0", and weigh about 160. I have only done two marathons, and both have been in the Boston Classics. Great shoe for cushioning.

5'11", 175# These are the only shoes I've ever worn that I'd pull out of the box and do a 20 mile run. Other shoes I've tried needed several "break-in" runs and then never really quite matched the comfort of Boston's. I usually put 500-600 miles on these shoes before replacing them and they still feel nearly as good as the next, new pair.

Sun, February 26,2006:
I've tried a few of Adidas' cushioned shoes, and the Boston Classic is the one I've had the most success with. These were the shoes I trained in during the harsh winter and they're still in great shape. I'm a lighter runner with medium arches, who puts in about 30 miles a week, and the shoes have been great for me.(I've tried the Adidas Response shoes before, and they just fell apart on me). I sometimes fall in the trap when buying running shoes that more expensive shoes must be better shoes, which isn't necessarily the case. The Boston Classic is towards the bottom of the price range for Adidas shoes, but they're very reliable shoes. I feel the cushioning is holding up, the arch support is just about perfect, and there's enough room in the toe area. If you want a great cushioned shoe that's not going to break the bank, the Boston Classic is for you.
