I love the fit of this shoe and I am so disappointed... I heard that adidas is discontinuing this model!!! Please don't do it.

I just ordered my 14th pair of these shoes. I love them. They fit me perfectly out of the box. I used to always have IT band injuries, but not since I started wearing these. Just the right amount of cushioning. They last about 300 miles for me. I'm about to run my 2nd marathon wearing them. I hope they never change or discontinue them.

I absolutely love these shoes. I've been running with them since I was 16. I used to have shin splint problems, but as soon as I purchased these shoes, all my aches and pains disappeared! The narrow, stable heel is difficult to find with other brands and models, so I really, really hope these shoes aren't discontinued!!

I have unique feet - these feel like they are custom made for me. Narrow feet with a neuroma prob. I've tried a lot of shoes, and without these I'm not sure if I could ever run more than 2h. With them....I've done 6 marathons. Not for everyone, (no shoe is) but they sure as heck are for ME!!

These are the classic distance trainers shoe for those of us who need a larger toe-box. They're a bit heavy for racing, but never rub (with Thorlo socks). The mesh uppers let a little too much cold in if you're in a very cold climate, but no more or less than most other running shoes I've tried. I have not heard these would be discontinued, and would be shocked if that were true!

My favorite shoe and I have never had a problem. Always replace the insole when first out of the box....but warning - Adidas is discontinuing this shoe this year - so stock up.

I absolutely love these shoes. I can wear them straight from the box with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Have tried other brands and models by Adidas but keep coming back to these. I'm on my 3rd pair. Work great for narrow foot that needs stability.

These shoes have changed! They have lost their flexibility. I have a very flexible foot and these shoes used to work...were's the last model. They are also MUCH softer a ride than they used to be. Awful! My foot has the worst case of strain ever, since purchasing these shoes. I'm going back to Brooks in a hurry!

Best running shoes ever. I am on my third pair (over a period of years). They are comfortable and fit perfectly. I just got my newest order of these and put them on and wore them all day - feeling great the whole time. I don't run much anymore - but I use these for elliptical and for all day walking and everything else. The Adidas fit is perfect for me. The heel is nice and snug but there is lots of room in the toe box. I have never found any other running shoe that fits this well and feels this good.

I've been wearing this shoe since 2000. Presently training for a marathon, so I'm running about 45+ miles per week. I've tried many other shoes and always come back to this one. Nothing fits my foot like the Supernova, as I need a shoe with a narrow heel and wide toe box. I hope they never stop making this shoe.

I have been looking for a comfy running shoe to train for SD R&R in May; have tried on almost everything and can't seem to find a roomy toe box. Was excited to see the reviews on the Supernova Classic (I am currently running in Adidas Duramo Lea). shoes arrived today; sorry to say, fit in the toe box wasn't roomy. Seemed tight, and I wasn't able to adjust laces because the lacing system is odd. I have to return them. I'm not sure why companies are making shoes so narrow; I fit into walking shoes just fine without having to "special order" them from mars or an orthotic shoe company. If anyone has suggestions, please share...marathon is comming up soon!

I LOVE these shoes. I run 60-80 miles per week, so I become quite aware of any problem in a pair of shoes very quickly. I've been running in the Classics for about 4 years now and have not noticed a single flaw. The shoe is cushioned but still responsive enough for a toe-striker like me. Believe me, it is tough finding shoes suitable for toe-running anymore, so the Classics are a God-send as far as I'm concerned. Thank you, Adidas, for the most wonderful shoe ever!

I've tried just about every shoe there is and ths one is the best if you have high arches that are very flexible. I am supposed use a neutral shoe but they hurt my feet something awful.

I've been running in these shoes for 3 years, 30+ plus miles/week. Love them. Narrow heel and wide toe box, so perfect for women who have feet like that. I was developing a bunion from my previous shoes and these were the perfect fix! But you do need to try them on as others have stated. More than once I've tried a pair that pinched or rubbed on the side of my toes, or where the left shoe felt different from the right. But I've always just tried on another pair in the same size and found the perfect fit. I have to size up one full size for the arch to be in the proper place... so just be sure you've got the proper size on for your foot!

I thought I was going to have to give up running due to IT band and other foot issues. It turned out that I needed a stability, not neutral shoe. The Adidas Supernova Classic is the perfect amount of stability for me. I've bought at least 6 pairs over the last few years and I have no plans to switch. I have a long, narrow foot (with especially narrow heel) and these fit great.

I have bought four pairs of these shoes. I love them! It's important to try them though because I noticed that one pair I wore rubbed my feet along the top, ouch! Needless to say I did not buy that pair, but the next pair was fine.

I have the blue/grey and they are fantastic. I have researched shoes that will accomodate my custon orthotics without having to take out the inserts. These shoes accomodate them and are a fabulous fit for me. Very comfortable and roomy in the forefoot and toe box. Love them! Only downstide is the soul wears out too quickly. I overpronate and found outside heal wore down too quickly. However, because of the great fit and feel I will continue to buy them.

I agree with the reviewers who saw a difference with the Lavender/Grey shoes. I, too wish they would match the same quality i have experienced in countless other pairs of Supernovas. Has anyone tried the Blue and white, newer ones?

I've used this shoe for 4 years and have tried to switch twice, but I always come back. It fits my narrow heel and wider width forefoot and toe. I never have trouble with blisters on my arches or anywhere right out of the box. I keep hearing it's going to be discontinued, but I hope not. What will I do?? :-)

I have tried other shoes and keep coming back to this one. I'm a pretty low milage runner but have problems with a narrow heel / wide foot and low arch. This shoe is perfect width and has a supportive but not artificially high arch. It's the only shoe I don't have to "break in" to prevent the arches of my feet from blistering!

I started running in 1998, and had severe problems to shin splits which limited my mileage per week. Since I got these shoes, I haven't had shin splints once. This past year, I was running an average of 20-25 miles/week with no shin splints. I buy 2 pairs at a time and alternate them.

I've bought over 15 pairs of this shoe over the past 5 years. It's great for my narrow heal, disproportionate in width to the rest of my foot. The only shoe I've ever worn without heal slippage!

Just got this shoe after years of Mizunos. Thought I'd try Adidas again. Huge mistake! Nothing but shin pain, pain in the ball of my foot and knees. It feels better to run bare foot. I sized up as stated, they are a bit too big. Also the toe box is huge. Wouldn't mind that at all if there was no pain involved. Really disappointed. For everyday walking around in, they are ok. I am going to try some insoles to hopefully make the waste of $ worth it :(

What happened to my favorite shoe?? I've worn these since 2002. I buy a new pair every 6 weeks (that's a lot of shoes). The lavender pair isn't the same quality, support, or cushion. I bought a second pair hoping the first was just poorly made. The second pair the same bad shoe.

Always loved this shoe but the last pair I bought hurt by littlest toe. I still wear my older pair. I want to buy a new pair and hopeful that the shoes I last got were just made wrong. Did anyone else experience this?

I have been wearing this shoe for many years and hundreds of miles and is best shoe ever. I have a slight bunion and is only shoe that doesn't hurt. There is also room for supportive bunion pad.

I see a lot of people keep coming back to this shoe, and I'm definitely no exception - I've had 15 pairs in the past six years! It's a great shoe, and not super expensive either.

I'm on my third pair after switching over from the supernova cushion. Since making the switch I've seen a lot of improvement in my plantar fasciitis and IT band issues. I've also added Superfeet inserts. The supernova classic is definitely the best shoe for my feet. I agree with the rec to order 1/2 size up!

I am a hardcore passionate runner. I started running for my high school cross country team and then went on to track. I was told that this would be the shoe for me, six pairs later and countless miles behind me, I'm still wearing this shoe.

I own six pairs of these shoes because they work great on pavement and off! I've always had an arch problem since X-C and these fit so well with orthodics. Two thumbs way up!!
