Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Control 4 Running Shoe:

I absolutely love this show. My knee pain would start toward the end of my run. This shoe has great feel and the knee pain has been non-existent since I switched. I would like to get a few more pairs before they become obselete.

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Control 4 Running Shoe:

I wanted to like this shoe but couldn't help but feel that they're overengineered, even for someone like me who pronates quite a bit and requires cushioning. These felt too "squishy" and didn't give the road feel that I was looking for. Also, the collar seems to sit very high up near the ankle, almost like a basketball shoe, which felt restrictive. And this is purely aesthetic, but a shoe does not need lenticular logos. I am sticking with the Pearl Izumi SynchroGuide.

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Control 4 Running Shoe:

I've been runnning for 3 years and tried alot of different shoes and had continued inner knee problems until I tried these.I am 5'6" and 150lbs and slightly overpronate. I added women specific orthotics and am proud to say I have upped my mileage to 20 per week with no pain! Bought another pair for spare.

Comments about Womens adidas adiSTAR Control 4 Running Shoe:

I'm a larger runner (5'8" and 160 lbs), overpronate. I was training for a min-marathon and got shin splints. I tried this shoe and was able to keep running injury free. I did add orthotics to them. I still had some pain at the longer distances but it was tolerable. I strike hard on my heel and these shoes seemed to absorb that very well. I have about 200 miles on this shoe now and keep it around for short runs. I will definitely order this one again.

I have been a runner for about six years now. When I first started running, I got shin splints really bad and since I didn't want to stop training I went a purchased this shoe. This shoe is so amazing that I was able to keep running and get rid of my shin splints. And now I am on my third pair of them. AMAZING!!!
