I ordered the dark grey/plum here, but they turned out different in colors and in details a little bit. The ones I got are cherry wood/black1. I prefer to have the plum one exactly looks like in the photo..disappointed. But they are really comfortable to run in or walk.

I run mountain trails mostly and running down in these is killing me. My feet are constantly covered in hot spots. I have had several pairs of supernova trail, but the 5's definitely do not feel as secure on my feet. They may run larger than previous models?

Great for endurance events. I have run 2 50Ks and a 50 miler in these. Great cushioning and fit for my slightly narrow foot. I have the black/plum and the blue and the black/plum seems sturdier/heavier than the blue.

Fine for smooth trails but there is not enough of a protection plate if you run aggressive trails with rocks and roots. Not recommended for endurance running.

After breaking them in these are the best for trail -- excellent stability and cushion. No knee pain!

I always wore the Trail Response 10. I never had a problem with that model. I would put them on and go out for a long run with no ill affects. I do not like this shoe at all. My toess go numb and I feel like I can feel every rock and pebble poke through the bottom of the shoe. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Bring back the fit of the Trail Resonse 10. I have been wearing adidas for over 15 years of running and I am dissapointed they have changed their models. I have had to start wearing the mizuno trail shoe now since it is a firmer bottom. I don't like the fit as well as the trail response 10 but it is much better than the trail response 14.

I've gone through two pairs of the supernova trail and they are the best shoes. I'm 5'7", 155lbs. and I run on a combination of road and trail 4-5miles/day. They are stable and cushiony, and no shin splints!!

The shoe is stable, for sure. But, it is so stiff that it rubs the skin off the inside of my arch. I wore them running only twice and then had to retire them. I can hardly wear them for even regular wear as they are so uncomfortable around my arch. If you have a high arch, these are not the shoes for you.

Not only have I had zero ankle injuries in this highly stable shoe, but it has incredible cushion. Any shoe that's more natural feeling that barefeet is at the top of my list.
