Solid shoe. Cushioning is firm but sufficient. A hair less stable than I prefer, but works well with Superfeet. A slightly narrow fit, which I like. If you like the Structure Triax, you might like the Sequence 2.

These are great shoes but they do have a lot of stability. There is a good deal of stability in the rear of the shoe toward the heel, so if you are a fairly neutral runner to slight overpronator using a stability shoe these may cause you an issue. After about 50 miles I developed some tendonitis soreness on the outside of my foot/ankle. I run about 65 miles/week, and have had no similar issue in similar class stabilty shoes (DS Trainers, 2140s, Structure Triax, etc.). These shoes trend more toward the motion control category.

So very cushioned and an ultra smoothride. The stability is just enough without you noticing it. No heel blisters or any other annoyance.

I bought this shoe at Road Runner last week when they told me I needed a stabilty shoe. I was worried because I really like my cushioned shoes. I haven't had any problems adjusting at all! This shoe still feels very cushy!

I purchased a pair of Sequence 2 shoes yesterday and took them on a 7 mile run today. They were the best fitting and supportive shoes I have ever run in. They are now my most favorite shoes. Great job Adidas!

This shoe is a great update. I didn't like the sequence because the heel felt too short. I'm 5'9" 171 lbs. medium arch and pronate. This shoe was perfect right out of the box. I have put 60 miles on them so far and they feel great.

Too much toebox. I bought two based on my experience with Sequence I. I returned them after two runs and bought two Sequence I instead.

I tried these at the Boston Marathon and the feel even better than the old one. The forefoot is much more comfortable and doesn't need breaking in. Seems pretty good shoe for longer runs and my favourite for Sunday.
