I did not try the shoe on prior to ordering. The adidas rep at a marathon expo told me that it was a cushion shoe with a little stability (and no pro-moderator) and was also "less of a shoe" than the adiSTAR ride. So I thought that was exactly what I was looking for. I got the shoe and it is definitely "more of a shoe" than the adiSTAR ride which is not what I'm looking for. Very comfortable and smooth, but not for someone who wants to feel light on their feet.

Just what I was looking for...cushioned shoe with just a little bit of control. Not as much control as other adidas shoes but more support than the glyde that I wore previously. Slightly more narrow than my previous Adidas glyde. Overall great shoe.

I recently started a marathon training program and was wearing Adidas AdiBostons for my runs. After a few weeks my body really began to take exception to the impact of the daily pavement pounding; especially my knees and shins. These new running shoes, fittingly named the Adidas Solution, were suggested to me by the professional staff at Marathon Sports in Cambridge. The difference has been nothing short of amazing, as I now have the impression of running on pillows. The aches and pains caused by my daily runs subsided immediately and my pace has actually improved despite the fact that these trainers are slightly heavier than the AdiBostons. I highly highly recommend these shoes, especially for novice runners and anyone carrying a few extra pounds.

Like the other reviewer, I bought these without a tryout. I've been a long time ASICS fan, long before Kayano, and am a big guy. I've gotten tired of too much pronation control, and HATE "motion control" shoes. These ran great right out of the box, felt more responsive that Nimbus, and I've had NO problems with these shoes in my rotation. A really good product by Adidas.

The first Adidas running shoes I've bought. I normally go foor New Balance or Asics. I'm tall (6' 3"), average weight (190) and wanted a good cushioned shoe. I don't over- or under-pronate.

I've been running approximately 15 miles a week in these shoes for several months, also taking aerobic classes at the gym--all with these shoes. Never had any problems of any kind. Now they're getting a little slick on the bottom, but that's to be expected.

Good shoe. I am 250 plus pounds and this provides good cushion but doesn't feel like a brick on my foot.
