Some shoes get updated and are ruined. The Adidas Sequence has only gotten better. I have had the first and second and this #3 is perfect. I am 5'10 175lbs and love this updated shoe. The toe box has excellent amount of room. Cushioning is perfect, I feel a great response were some shoes are so mushy the calves work twice as hard. I have ran in many different shoes and if you need a stability shoe I recommend this Sequence 3.

I gave these shoes a fair shot-ran in them 4 different times for a total of 25 Miles and not happy with them. I LOVE the Sequence 2. It had a bit more room in the upper and just a bit wider overall. These (Sequence 3) do not. For my foot it feels significantly tighter and made for overall uncomfortable run because my feet felt cramped, tight. Other than this change I do think it is a good shoe. If you have narrow feet and don't need the wiggle room for your toes it could be a good choice.

I really loved the Sequence 2,. it was a great fit with just the right amount of room in the toebox. This shoe, the Sequence 3, has changed with a tighter toebox. Everything else I love about the shoe,.. great cushion and stability.

I keep coming back to this shoe since at the end of my runs I didn't notice them. That's a good thing. I have the sequence 4 and will return them due to too much stability. I have five pair of the sequence threes. I'm right in between the neutral and stability shoes, but feel like on my long runs of 18 or more miles they give me the best support. Naturally, I rotate them out all the time, but they seem to wear well. No issues at all with any of them, so until I find something better I'm very happy with this shoe. Just a little on the heavy side, but not bad.

This is my second pair, following up from the Sequence 2. The Seq2 was recommended to me after suffering from different knee issues in both knees. I sized up 1/2 size, and I thought these were the best fitting shoes I've ever ran it. Finally. I loved them so much I did not hesitate to go with Seq again when the 2's needed replacing.

I find the 3's to be just as true. However, I've still had knee problems with these shoes. I heard about using shoe rotation to help with injuries, so I tried it. My thinking was that I'd go with a different pair for the second, and then alternate runs with the two pairs. I wanted something a bit different, so the mechanics of each run with each pair of shoes would be different. So I bought a set of M10's.

Now that I have 2 completely different models, one of my knee issues has improved (unbelievable!). But I have also noticed how much more I like the M10's. They are WAY less bulky than the Seq3's, and I find I ALWAYS have a slightly better run in them. I use the same orthotics in both pairs (Superfeet), so I cannot attribute the difference to that. I do notice I heelstrike much harder with the Seq3 and not so much with the M10. I am also 150 lbs., so I wonder if the weight of the Seq3 vs. the M10 is also an issue.

Bottom line: Seq3 is a well-cushioned, stable shoe with LOADS of room in the toebox (although I find the M10 roomy as well). But if you are a lightweight like me, the Seq3 might be too bulky, especially if you run more than just a few miles in them. Regardless, I still mix them in on some of my runs. Haven't decided whether I'd buy another pair in the future.

This is the third Sequence I've owned and it is the most supportive and comfortable. I have just come back from a back injury and these shoes have allowed me to resume runnig without pain. A GREAT Shoe

My previous two pairs of running shoes were Adidas Super Nova Glides. Each pair lasted over 500 miles. The Super Nova Sequence 3 are a good replacement for the Glide. They provide the cushioning I need for long runs and are light enough for me to run 5k and 8k races.

I chose these because the narrower profile fit my feet the best. A light and very comfortable shoe, I like the feel of them on pavement much better than the treadmill.

I went with this shoe based on the other reviews that I'd read. I had previously been running in some really old Kanberrras, but when I started to up my mileage I started looking for new shoes. Went with the Supernova and after a few short runs to break them in, am very satisfied.

I run about 40 mpw and am moving up to 60. Lot of asphalt running, getting more into trails when I get a chance. The shoe is heavier than what I have been running in but they are very comfortable. Very smooth landing and take off. I feel secure in them and the upper area is strong (almost stiff) which helps in trails when you come across a stray rock. Not sure where the extra weight in this shoe is but overall, I'm pleased with my first pair of Adidas.

I'm 5'9" and 168lbs and run 5k races and marathons and have tried many running shoes. Addidas and one other brand are the only two I use now. The Addidas Sequence 3 is a very good running shoe that I would certainly purchase again; though they are slightly heavier than I would prefer. They are great for short or long runs.I run mostly on pavement and these hold up nicely.

Quality shoe without the quantity of cost. Like the feel and stability of the Supernova Sequence. Excellent cushioning in the heel with enough room in the toe make this a roomy but snug trainer.

I've owned 4 pairs of the original supernova sequence and was reluctant to upgrade because I liked them so much. These sneakers were an easy transition, feel like the original and make me happy I upgraded. I run about 4 -6 miles per day, 4 days a week on these sneaks and they have been doing great.
At first it felt like the heel was a little loose, but that issue seemed to solve itself as they stay fit perfectly. They were originally a little snug when I first put them on, as other have indicated they are generally a half size too small, but I have found them to fit my foot nicely and occasionally even need a lace tightening.

Narrow fit, but that is what I like about this shoe. Very comfortable ride, but with that the shoe cushion does wear out faster than othter stability shoes. I like the shoe, bought another pair for the shelf. But again, you have to like a narrow fit. (runner 45-50miles/week; wt 140, ht 5'8")

I originally ordered size 12 to find that they were too small. 13 were too big. Finally settled for 12 1/2. I have a narrow foot so these fit my foot width perfectly.
