If you are looking for a Classic replacement, I wouldn't recommend these shoes. They fit pretty well out of the box, but they just weren't firm enough for the road. I am waiting for Adidas to bring back the Classic. Until then, I'm going to recycle my old ones for a while longer. I guess I just can't "adapt" yet until Adidas comes out with a decent update to the Classic. You could say I am in mourning right now since I bought my first Classics in 1998.

After having run in the Supernova Classic for more years than I can remember, I was disappointed to learn that they were no longer available. So I decided to try the Adapt, while I still had a new pair of Classics in reserve. When the Adapt arrived I did the carpet test and was amazed that they were nothing like the Classic, so I put a new Classic on one foot and an Adapt on the other and repeated the carpet test and verified to myself that that my first impression was correct. First the Adapt has a noticeably higher arch than the Classic as well as a completely different feel on the heel plant (I am a heel striker). Can I run in the Adapt? The answer is yes. Do I consider it a replacement for the Classic? The answer in no and suggest acceptable alternative. I am currently training in the Adapt with no ill effect, so far, but long for the feel of my longtime favorite the Classic. If I can find a shoe more like the Classic, I will change, but until I do at least the Adapt a good alternative.

Put on 10 Miles per week, and fits into feet just like grove, great support with heel and forefoot, just don't wear it with barefoot unless you want to get blisters.

Love these shoes! Lately I've noticed Adidas starting to cheap out on some of their Supernova models but this Supernova Adapt is one of the best shoes I've run in!

Adidas Supernovas continue to be a consistent and reliable shoe. The only con is that I only get a little over 200 miles on each pair...but that is any shoe with me.

The shoe runs about 1/2 size larger than the Classic. Seems to have more cushioning than the Classic for a more comfortable ride. I love this shoe as a replacement for the Supernova Classic.

My husband is in the U.S. Navy and uses these shoes for all his workouts. He normally goes through shoes very fast but we have found that these hold up very well with his constant workout schedule. He is always talking about how they are one of the best shoes he has ever worked out in.

I needed a comfortable shoe with good support. I wear orthotic inserts in most shoes, but with these I don't need them. Adidas has always come through for me. I would definitely recommend this shoe to others. I have had the Supernova Classic in the past and the ADAPT lives up to its predecessor. I use these for walking vs. running. I get complements on the look and they feel great on my feet. You can't ask for more than that!

Awsome shoe if you require arch support. Light and fast with a snug fit in center but plenty of toe room.

Just got these about 4 weeks ago for an upcoming triathlon i'm doing. The minute i took off in them for a training run, I knew I made a great purchase. I'm a big fan of adidas products because they have yet to let me down. These shoes come as advertised. I took [@] advice and went with these(also their Editor's Choice. Absolutely love these shoes worth every penny.
