      they are the best ruuning shoes ever. i ran 6 miles the first day after that ran long run 20 miles. i also ran in the rain with the same shoes.
      and i ran Grand Cayman Marathon last week was my best time and BQ . very comfortable shoes.

        Was determined to get back into running, but was having trouble finding the right shoe. Had always run in Asics, but feet would go numb in a run greater than 5 miles. I am 6' 4" 200lbs and the Adistar ride 4 has been perfect. I really like the unique heal design which lessons the heal impact. I wear a dry fit thin sock and can now focus on my running without having to worry about my feet.
        I like the shoe so much that I just bought the other color so that I can alternate between runs, as well as to have a backup just in case.
        I have my fist pair now for two months, so I cannot comment on the overall durability yet.

        I am an Adidas fan. And I really liked the ride 3. The ride 4 is much lighter, but it feels really cheap. It is no where near the luxury feel of the ride 3. I don't know why Adidas ruined this shoe. If I wanted a lighter shoe I would have picked one of their other models. I wanted the plush, top of the line, comfort that was supposed to be the ride... The lace pattern is very strange, leaving a huge gap over the top of the arch, this causes the tongue to bulge out, and because they made the tongue so narrow (to save weight I guess) the edges pop out. Looks and feels bad. I gave the shoe a couple hundred miles, but I am giving up. If you want a nice comfortable "ride" I recommend looking for a good deal on a pair of discontinued ride 3s.
