Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

I bought one pair in June 2013 that fit ever so beautifully! So lightweight, but with lots of support. Went out and ordered two more pairs in August that have been a nightmare: tight in the toebox and poor finishing of internal seams around the tongue/laces - one pair shredded my left big toe knuckle, the other pair shredded my right. Tried to "break them in", wear them alternate days, give them time to soften up, but in both cases, they're just too narrow. Quality control at adidas missed this!

I would still recommend the shoe (based on the first pair) but you should expect a round or two of returns.

The up-side is that RRS took both pairs back no questions. That's why we love RRS.

Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

These shoes are great! They hug your foot, and have a fast, light feel. They, actually, allowed me to ditch my orthotics, which I have worn for 10+ years as the fit and support was so good. The pink color is also beautiful. Highly recommend!

Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

Not nearly as much cushioning as its 2 predecessors. The toe box has lots of room but curves funny, which is bad for me because I have injured outer toes from my gymnastics days and the curve is weird. Not much cushioning or arch support; had to add my own. I'm an underpronator with high arches and it tries too hard to make me overpronate, causing my upper foot to hurt. Looking forward to Boston 4 so I can donate these 3s to the trash bin. Hopefully they fixed the flaws. I have been running in Bostons since 2003 because of the cushioning, large toe box and comfort for underpronators it offered and I hope the 4s will return to that tradition.

Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

These shoes are perfect for my low volume foot. Generally I can't get a snug fit but this shoe and lacing system are very precise. This shoe is not a minimal shoe, but I could feel my muscles working from day one. Transition is fluid although not a speed product. When running in these shoes, my gait becomes quick, tight and efficient. No unnecessary bouncing or commotion--just a graceful run. My legs were sore after the first run, but in a good way. Every run gets better and for the first time, I can see myself going ALL the way..

Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

I have worn the SuperNova Classic for years and cannot find a replacement. I read the reviews on this shoe and gave it a try. It's not a replacement for the SuperNova Classic. This shoe has no support or cushion at all and you feel every sharp stone. It feels about as sturdy as cardboard. My fourth toe in my left foot went numb within 3 miles and yet the shoe was quite large enough, even felt a full size large. I will need to return but need to find a shoe with high arch support, secure stability and medium cusion. I run 10 miles 3 x a week and am not into the barefoot running fad that these shoes appear to be trying to provide. In fact, I am not able to find any brand with a narrow heel, high arch, ample toe box and stability with cushion. Please let me know if you know of one!

Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

Prior to purchasing the Adidas Boston 3 I was wearing an Asics Gel 3020. While training for a half marathon the Asics finally broke down so I was pressed to find a quick replacement. Tired of the typical, clunky running shoe I was excited to move into what I consider a streamlined 'crossover' shoe (not a clunky runner nor a true minimalist). I have been wearing the Boston 3 for about a month now and am very pleased. They just got me thru my half marathon so I decided to order a second pair to break in and have on hand when the first pair breaks down. I have no complaints about this shoe. My foot is between a 10.5 and 11. I ordered size 10.5 and the fit is perfect.

Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

I wore the Supernova Classic for 6 years and was devastated when they discontinued it. I tried the Adapt with no success.I wear custom orthotics and unless they are held exactly right I have a lot of pain in the ball of my foot due to a longer bone. I tried the Glide and it was ok for shorter distances but not right. I then moved to other companies-Saucony, Mizuno, New Balance and even Nike. I have a closet full of "not quite right" shoes.

I tried the Boston and it instantly felt right. I am now shopping for my second pair and am optimistic that my shoe issues may be over.

I use these for my road runs of varying distances (5 to 12 miles). I love how flexible and light these feel! Also love the way they hug my mid-foot but have great toe space. I wear a womens 11 and use "Sole" inserts and these work well for that. These are my replacement for Asics DS Trainers which started to become more heavy and clunky in the last few models.

Comments about Womens adidas adizero Boston 3 Running Shoe:

Was looking to replace my Brooks Pure Flow with something different, after reading lots of shoe reviews I decided to give the Boston 3 a try. It was love at first foot fall, ran 11 miles in them right out of the box. They really do feel as described...light and fast. I love the snug fit around the arch, which allowed me to ditch the superfeet insoles I needed in the Flow. I read that you need to size up in this shoe but that wasn't the case for me, if anything I felt this shoe runs a bit long. This shoe has a really firm cushion that makes it feel fast. I'm a mid foot striker who occasionally heel strikes as well, this shoe works fine for both. I can easily use this shoe for both speed and long runs.
