      Not at all like my last pair

          I have had at least 7 pairs of the Sequence 4 and 5 and this is a completely different shoe. It looks different and it is way brighter (almost neon) compared to my last pair of coral Sequence 5s. Really disappointed. I wear orthotics and my orthotics slosh around in these. Not certain what Addidas did, but I am very unhappy with this version. Sending them back today.

            I've had multiple pairs of all the version of this shoe going all the way back to the Adidas Brevard. This is probably my 5th or 6th pair in the Sequence Series, and in general I really like this shoe, but for some reason, the Sequence 5 is sized really differently. I usually wear a 9 1/2 (street shoe I am an 8 1/2) but thank goodness I had tried these on in a store. I ended up buying a size 9, and they are fine. The tongue is short (a little weird, huh?), but it's not a big deal. After running in them for a while, I definitely bought the correct size, but it was really strange after so many pairs to suddenly change the sizing.

            I have a new pair of Sequence 4 and tried to get another pair. Sequence 5 doesn't fit half as well as the previous version. From the arch to the toe it is much too wide even with tighter laces which then make the rest of the shoe too tight. So disappointing. I run every day on the road and trail so hoped to have a stable pair of shoes for the rest of the year. Should have bought more Sequence 4 when they were endangered for $30 cheaper than the 5s!
