Best Uses Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: I switched to Adidas several years ago and the Glide was one of my main running shoes since about 3 years ago which I loved. Unfortunately the new Glide 6 falls way short and is a huge disappointment. My 2 year old Glides with 400 miles on them have more cushioning, support and stability than my brand new Glide 6's. I wanted to give them a chance so I ran in them 4 times to be sure, which seems to be causing plantar pain due to the flimsy sole. I'm not sure what I'm missing here since there seem to be some surprisingly good reviews which make no sense to me, but I'm ready to throw these out and go back too my old ones until I find something else. I was really looking forward to these and hoped they'd be as good or better than the old Glide model of 2 years ago that was perfect in cushioning, support, responsiveness, weight, comfort and durability.
Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: The Boost foam really does feel more springy than most others and gives this shoe a great ride. Pros

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: I use these shoes for everyday use. I wear them with orthotic inserts and they fit like a glove. They're very comfortable and provide excellent support. I have a pair of Sequence Boost shoes also which I alternate because of colors. Ditto for them.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: This is my second pair of SGB6. I had planned on purchasing the SGB7 but their appeared to be no change between the two models, and there's only one color available on the 7's.I love the cushioning and the airy mesh.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: These feel great on the treadmill and on the road. Light but with great cushion and a dash of inconspicuous stability to keep me striding injury-free. And they look great, which I like bc my old pair becomes my everyday sneaker when I buy a new pair to run in.
Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: I am a high school runner in idaho, track and cross country. I bought the supernova glide 6's at the beginning of my summer training last year, and loved everything but the upper mesh fit. My heel slipped out a lot at first, and the fit on my upper foot was a bit tight. It squeezed my foot on a few runs. Once in a while, my foot would fall asleep during a run. However, these are the best shoes i have ever run in. I put about 600-700 miles on them that summer and cross country season, and they felt great. I wanted a shoe that did not have the uncomfortable mesh fit, so i bought some nike pegasus, and ended up going back to my old glides. I run only in my glides now, during track season, and they are only barely showing signs of wear on the stitch. The new Boost technology is the only way to go. Nice job adidas, you've redeemed a long career of average running shoes.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: One of the best cushion I've ever tried, tested them in road and they have a superb grip on wet and dry pavement, have used for 25 miles and the sole shows minimum wear, excellent fit and quality, although you should order a half size up.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: I think this is a perfect shoe for every workout. I own also the Energy Boost which is more cushioned and this a little bit stiff. But I really like them and definitely recommend it.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: I have been a runner for 10 years. I've tried several brands models of shoes and never been truly enamored with any. I tried this because it was a RW editors choice.
Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: Great shoe for a daily trainer. I land on the balls of my feet and the cushioning is just enough. Bulk of the 1000 miles I logged on these were done on concrete if you could believe it. Really should have gotten a new pair sooner but I hadn't noticed any problems so I forgot. They are just starting to hurt my feet after around 7 miles on a run. Look good as new, no tears or whatnot.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: Just picked up a pair. Took some getting used to as I had been running in the Mizuno Wave Riders, but wanted something more responsive. These shoes definitely hit the target on what I was looking for. It took three runs on the treadmill before I decided to keep them but very glad I did.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: Super light...yet good support ..wraps around your foot. Makes you land on forefoot and ball of feet..almost impossible to heel strike in these..awesome..only flaw..those are some funky colors..I have neon yellow and blue...might like the yellow a bit more

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: Fantastic Shoe. Do not normally like Adidas, but these have been simply one of the best shoes I've ever run in. I generally burn holes in my shoes near my big toe and at the width of my foot. The toe box in the Super Nova Boost is wide enough, yet not too wide. As Goldie Locks stated ..."just right". As far as a comfortable ride .... the Boost rubber feels very responsive and allows for quick transitions between strides. Overall a winner and new favorite.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: These shoes are a great complement to my Energy Boost shoes for marathon training. I have narrow feet so the Energy Boost fit me perfectly, but the Supernovas have a bit more room in the toe box for those with wider feed. Only two cons are: 1) this is a minor quibble, but I could only get my size in white and on my first run they got muddy and no amount of stain remover, laundry detergent or dish soap and scrubbing could get it out; and 2) bigger issue for me - though they say it is micoach compatible, this must be for lace connectivity as there is no pocket in the sole for a fitness pod. I use the Nike pod in my Energy Boost shoes, but cannot do so in these making it impossible to track indoor runs on my Nike GPS watch.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: I do not own them either, but was intrigued to try them during a runner's club event. Put 4+ miles on them running over fairly snow covered pavement and concrete roads. Route was considered rolling so there was some up and downhill involved as well as flats.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: This is a great shoe. Very responsive, great cushioning distributed amazingly well for a 10mm differential. It truly feels more like 4mm differential. The continental rubber outsole is fantastic for grip. The shoe runs a tad large. I stayed with my typical size though just to give me a little extra room for heavier socks as I can see me wearing this a lot in the winter. The sole is just firm enough to get good response but yet cushy enough to feel plus. Although the weight is pretty heavy it does not *feel* heavy on the feet. This is an outstanding daily trainer. I have to get men's sizes b/c they don't sell in a women's 12.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: I actually don't own these shoes but rather I had the opportunity to take them for a test run when Adidas showed up to my local running store's weekly group run. Normaly I wear a 12.5 in Adidas but I had to test run these shoes in a 12 which was ok for the 5 mile run I was doing, but a 12.5 is what I would need. I really liked how the shoe fit my foot. They felt very responsive. I ran i these shoes on a concrete path and they did feel a bit hard for that surface, however I have acces to dirt roads and black top surfaces so I know these shoes will feel good on that surface. I currently have 2 pairs of the energy boost and I look forward to adding the glides to my running shoe rotation.

Comments about Mens adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost Running Shoe: These shoes have won me over. I tried the Adidas Boost when they were released early last spring, wore them for half a day and sent them back. They were too small, too tight, and I felt too gimmicky. When I saw Glide 6 incorporate the Boost technology, I thought I would give it another try after talking to a support specialist from Road Runner after expressing my concerns/issues I had with the Boost shoes. I was assured that the fit would be true to other Glides. This couldn't be more spot on and true. I pre-ordered the shoes and they showed up on my doorstep late in the day on a Friday early in December. I tried them on, and rather than going for a run, I wore them to the local mall for 6 hours of walking and standing in line while Christmas shopping. The fit is perfect, much like the Glide 3, a little more pronounced arch support. The boost was really noticeable just walking around indoors on concrete. Hard to explain, but very enjoyable with a little push back feel through your heel when lifting your foot. Got home took them off, and I really missed not having them on. I now wear them to work, then to the gym after work, still when I take them off after a 12-14 hour day, my feet miss not having them on. I'm not a hard core runner by any means, but the treadmill running I've done and the 20-30 minute outdoor runs I've been able to get in, these shoes have been up to the task. I'm bigger, about 220 pounds, but the boost feels firm, not squishy, but yet does the energy absorption and return as they were designed to do. The one and only change I would ask, better color selection. In time I'm sure that will happen. Try a pair and you will be impressed.
