Yep. Just measured. They are only 3". Not sure where the above description comes from but it's not accurate as to length or pocket.

Fit great. Not all bunchy in the front like my other running shorts. I'm not really sure that they are 4" though. More like 3 and there is NO back pocket as described. Otherwise I would've given them a 4.

Runs small. I am a 4, sometimes a 6 and usually wear a small in Nike and RRS, some mediums in other shorts. I ordered a small... these shorts were tight in hips and thighs (where I carry my weight). Nice cut and lightweight fabric. I'll be sending them back and ordering a medium when they're in stock again.
