I have always worn these shorts and loved them. I recently bought 2 new pairs. They were the same shorts, but they added a sewn in tag in the back with rough edges, and it rubs a sore spot on my back. I'll have to try and remove it and then they will be the shorts I have come to love.

Not only are these very comfortable, the rear centered zipper pocket makes these the only training shorts I'll now buy. The only shorts I've found that easily carry ID+credit card+money + GU where you don't notice. Great for long runs.

I have trained for and run 2 marathons in these shorts and had no chaffing probs. Back pocket hold at least 2 GUs. Recommend!

For racing, this is my all time favorite short. It is baggy compared split shorts but there is not so much material that it rides up between your legs. It it light and dries quickly.

True the leg opening is not baggy. But because the leg is cut closer it does not ride up in between my legs which is a complaint I typically have with loose shorts.

I would not consider this a "baggy" running short. The leg openings were pretty tight. I would recommend ordering a size larger than normal if you choose to purchase this short.
