Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: Safety pins thru my shirt irritated my skin and energy gels in my pockets were bulky. THIS BELT SOLVED BOTH ISSUES! Comfortable elastic belt with easy, sturdy plastic squeeze-snap buckle. Pouch slides on belt to where you want it, expands to hold 5-6 GUs and has very soft backing, so no irritation. Built-in tabs hold bib number in place securely. I used it in marathn a week ago & it worked out well. Love it for runs where I want to carry GUs or other small items. From my experience, Amphipod seems to make good quality products.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I used this for the NYC Marathon. I was looking for something that would fit 5 Gu packs and didn't bounce or ride up my waist. This product met all my needs. It was easy to access while running, it didn't bounce or ride up. It was light weight which during a race is definitely a plus. It fit my 5 Gu gels and a chap stick. Exactly what i was looking for.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I love this product. I don't like carrying things with me when I run, so this works perfect. I don't even notice it's there. Doesn't bounce around when I run.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: The amphipod lite is great! I use it daily. I bought it for running to carry my phone and keys and find myself using it while doing housework, walking the dog and running errands. It is so compact and light I forget I have it on. I never thought I would like using it while running but it doesn't bounce at all and is very secure and water resistant too. I have already recommended it to friends and plan to buy more as gifts.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: This is great! I just received mine and have worn it for long training runs (10 plus miles) as well as a half marathon. I do not like running with "stuff" and this suits my needs perfectly. I cannot even tell that I have it on, and actually need to check a few times that it was still there!. Perfect for holding a couple of gu's, and ID and car keys. Love it.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I use this on every run with my Adidas miCoach Pacer and iPod nano. I was using an older Amphipod pouch, but was getting abrasion where it rubbed my skin. This is light (lighter than the old pouch), and is adjustable, which is a plus. The only negative is that, when using it for racing numbers, the number tends to fold up so that it is hard to read. Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: This belt is great for events - pouch expands and can hold 3 gels - it has tabs for the bib, but I prefer to pin the bib on the belt just to be safe. Pros

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: Use it on a daily basis to hold id, money, gels. Have not used it in a race yet. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: It stays in place and that's the best part. Very lightweight, compact, does not ride up, fits a pack of gel blocks and a small energy drink bottle about the size of that 25-hour magic jazz...you know the one. The elastic belt does not chafe like the wider nylon belts do, and the pouch is felted on the backside for comfort.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I used this belt on a couple of half marathons and shorter runs too. I had room for my energy goo and my cell phone. And unlike my other streamlined belt it HAS A PADDED back to the pouch so it doesn't make my back sore after a long run. The bib attachments are smart and functional; another feature that the other belt (for the same price) lacks. They don't get in the way when not in use. If there is anything that could be improved- maybe the pouch fabric could be a bit more elastic. Otherwise, A GREAT BUY. It's now part of my routine running gear and I'm gonna pack it for my trip to Disney too!

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I use this Go Holder for running. I carry my ID and some money and keys, a cell phone and iPod will fit inside the pouch too. I use this for my shorter runs. Once adjusted it does not bounce and it's easy to forget you're even wearing it. The only change I would suggest would be to make the race number holders adjustable. They are sewn in place.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I like that it is so lite that you don't even know you have it on. I carry 3 jells in it, hook my number to it, and also have amphipod micro pack tune that I hook on for key and money or ID. They work great together. If I carried music I would put it in the front of the micro.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I absolutely HATE running with "stuff" but needed something to store some energy for longer runs. This is perfect! I don't even feel it. I actually had to check several times to make sure it was still there! Pros

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I've worn this on training runs and trail races, and have no real beefs. I carry my ipod in this when training with the Adidas miCoach Pacer. My only complaint is that it would be better with a bi-directional zipper. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: This belt worked great for my first half-marathon. I liked the tabs to hook on my number, they were very easy and quick with no additional pieces to add or to have hanging. Not adjustable, so unless it is the standard racing number size, it could be an issue. The included pocket is alright, it would hold several packets of gu or whatever. I usually do not run with lots of extras. Belt stayed in place and was easy to adjust for size. For the price, it is great. Pros

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: Purchased this for racing. It secures race bib number easily and securely without the need of pins and the pouch conveniently holds up to 3 gel packets which is more than enough for a half marathon. This is so light that you hardly know you are wearing it. Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: Love this light pouch. Wear mine every time I run. Fits my key, money, and up to 5 gu packs. If you are looking for a race belt with a little pouch, this is the one. The pouch is made out of a water resistant material. Pros

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I bought this to use on my short runs and races. It has a smaller pouch/pocket than some of it's competitors, however it seems water/sweat proof as others are not. All the other functions of the belt worked great. Overall, its a good product, just a little smaller than it's competitors.

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I was looking for a really small holder to use for my upcoming marathon. I wanted something just big enough to hold a few Gu's and Gatorade gummy squares. I don't want to wear my FuelBelt in the race because they're going to have aid stations @ every mile. I just took this belt for a test run this weekend, on my final taper of 7 miles. Within a few mins, I forgot it was even there! Perfect!

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: I have an iPhone app that measures distance, time, pace, elevation, etc when I run, walk, etc. Sometimes I want to run a specific distance, or know how far a specific course is, so I carry my iPhone and turn on the app (RunKeeper).

Cons
Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: The first time I wore this belt for a 6M Tempo run I had to hide it in the bushes after a mile and retrieve it at the end of my run. Other than the fact that it bounces around with a smart phone, it looks OK and probably works great for holding gels, money and credit cards. The problem is that I bought it to hold my phone, and it fails to do this job.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: Great to hold gels or shot blocks for longer races. Very lighweight.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: During first marathon training had a hard time deciding where to put gels. Experimented during long runs and found this to be the best and most comfortable product. No bounce or ride up the waist if you tighten it well. The pack can be moved; I wear it on the right hip. It actually provides a good reminder to rotate the hips when running, one of the key elements of good form. Fits up to 5 Clif Shot gels, and some folded cash and a key. Beware it's very easy to lose cash if you stuff too many gels and then yank them out during a run. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: When I looked at the bib clips, I thought that they were too far apart and that the belt would stretch when worn--it needs to be snug so that the pouch doesn't bounce--and they were. I put my race bib on the clips, put the belt on, and not only did my race bib tear, but the clip broke off of the belt too. Useless as a bib holder. Pros

Comments about Amphipod Race-Lite Go Holder: Great way to carry "GU"-type nutrition for long runs/races. Expandable pouch holds at least 2 packets. Sturdy construction and secure clasp keeps it on your waist. So light, I forget it's there.
