This was absolutely perfect for me to use for the Ragnar Relay. It's adjusts easily and fit so well. it didn't move much while I ran and it was great on top of a tank top...no chaffing or discomfort!

The Amphipod is a well-designed safety vest. It fits easily, and the straps have a little stretch to them to compensate for layered clothing. I am able to wear it over my winter running outfit in the morning and put it on over a winter coat at night without adjustment. That said, the straps also have a thickness and stiffness to them that may be uncomfortable when only wearing a t-shirt--it's ridiculously cold here right now, so I can't say for sure. Arguably, it's a little cooler looking than your average safety vest, though they all make me feel like I need a hard hat and beer belly to complete the ensemble.

This reflective "vest" is just what I was looking for. It can be adjusted easily to many different sizes and did not shift around like other "one-size fits all" reflective vests that could not really be adjusted to my size. It can be worn over a tank top in the summer or over several layers in the winter. It still has as much (if not more) reflection than the other types of vests.

This was just what I was looking for. It is compact, making it easy to stow for long runs when I only need it some of the time. Extremely reflective without making you look like you should be directing traffic. Comfortable to wear, plus easy to adjust and get on and off. Very happy with this purchase!

This was purchased to replace a very well used and worn older version of the same product/brand. The one I had last time was the yellow version and had a nice zippered pocket in the front good for keys and even fit a can of pepper spray. This time I ordered the pink version and it did not have the small pocket. I wear this regularly when running in the dark in addition to a headlamp

This thing is much better quality than some "other" vests I have seen for $9.99 (competitor). This is very bright, easy to adjust, and seams to be good quality. Well worth the extra money. IT could be slightly larger, as I had to adjust to the maximum size to fit me, and I am not obese.

I feel much safer running in the dark with this product. I know it's reflective and I am seen by vehicles and cyclists alike. It's comfortable, easy to adjust and doesn't slip at all while I run. And I love the fact that I found one that is PINK!

Stripes on chest lost their reflectivity after less than a year.They appear to have bled into the yellow fabric of the strap.Maybe defective.

The vest itself is lightweight and does not add any extra bulk while running which is nice. I have a long upper body and the vest won't adjust out enough so it rides around my lower rib cage and has taken some getting accustomed to and where I am unable to tighten the waist band so as to not feel restrictive around my chest it has a tendency to move around a bit more than I like. All in all it does a good job and serves its purpose, would be excellent for those with a shorter upper body.

This is my second Amphipod vest so I'm somewhat convinced of its functionality. Its very bright and can be worn over most any combination of running apparel. However, its front reflector Y is no longer a small key pocket. That was very practical. The stretchy material of the old straps lost its shape after several years. Maybe that is par for the materials life span. I hope I can get 4 years from this new vest.

I needed some additional reflectors for my early morning runs before dawn. I typically run on a busy street so I feel much more visible with this on. It was easy to adjust and didn't move around at all. I haven't washed it yet, but based on other reviews, may just let it hang-dry to preserve the reflective material.

I think this is a good thing, though I still dont feel totally safe. I think lights are the safest bet.

I bought this particular vest after doing Reach the Beach a few years ago and trying a few vests during the night runs there. This was definitely the most comfortable I tried, and it has been comfortable ever since. I tend to leave the horizontal straps just below my HRM strap and a little loose to allow the shoulder straps to stay down on my shoulders without any tension. I've had this vest for a little over a year and haven't found any excessive wear or anything. This vest is also very easy to resize for my (smaller) wife to wear.

I use this to run in the morning before the sun comes up. There are many people traveling to work on the road and I feel very safe wearing this vest. It is much brighter and reflective than the picture shows. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the piece as well. If you are looking for something comfortable and reflective, look no further.

I have tried many different styles of reflective vests and found the Amphipod to be the ultimate. It is soft and flexible. You don't even know you are wearing it once you have it perfectly adjusted. It is highly reflective at night so you stand out like a sore thumb. You can clip LEDs to it if you want extra lights. I couldn't be more pleased. When washing it just rinse it in warm water and let it air dry.

This is very well designed and quite comfortable, but the reflective coating started wearing off in just two months of use. The company replaced my first one; now I need to find another product.

I run at nights now due to my new work schedule and I can now run with confidence knowing that I'm visible to cars on the road. It is very comfortable, does not bounce around, fully adjustable, very easy to use and does not even feel like you have it on while you are running. This has to be the smartest purchase I've made in terms of my running gear. I highly recommend this product.

I've spotted another runner w/ one of these in straight darkness on the trail at about 50yds w/ only my $12 headlamp. I just wish they would add some simple loops to be able to attach some cheap L.E.D. clip ons.

I loved this 'vest' from the moment I put it on. No interference with a workout; I didn't ever stop or slow down to adjust. My hood didn't hide the backside reflectivity, and I was confident I was being seen from all angles. I like how much actual reflective material is used, as opposed to other products I've used with simply a small amount of reflective material, and lots of bright colors. This adjust easily for winter or summer workout clothing. I love it!

This item is inexpensive but well made. After using it, I think I'd rather have bought a full vest just for ease of adjustment and more visibility.
