Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: I used this yesterday on a 6-mile run in the woods. I'm returning it tomorrow. The water bottle was pretty easy to get in/out once I got used to it, and a perfect size, but the big problem was that the belt straps are not elastic. They are adjustable, but to get them to the point where the water bottle did not bounce, it had to be worn tight and high at my true waist. I felt like it affected my ability to breathe properly. When I tried wearing it looser it bounced and was abrasive. When I tried it tighter around my hips, it rode up and bounced.

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: I like the belt and that it has a lot of adjustment. It took me a few miles to get the hang of pulling out the bottle and more so, putting it back in. I like the larger volume as I have to pour water on my head sometimes to cool down. I wish the belt was not as wide because I have a short waste and it seems a bit large on me. It does stay in place well and I experienced no flopping or rotating. I wore it over my tank top but would have liked to wear it under my shirt instead but I was worried about abrasion. Maybe I will try that next time.

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: This thing does not bounce. I intend to use it for 6 - 10 mile runs. Perfect bottle size for this. Used it on one halfmarathon, worked well, no bounce, after a few minutes you don´t notice it anymore. Lightweight.

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: I use this for running. My biggest complaint is that the zip-pocket isn't quite big enough, but I bought this on a whim and didn't realize that they were sold in different sizes, so that could be easily rectified.

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: The best hydration system I have ever used!! No bouncing!! It beats out Nathan & Fuel Belt products. The only thing that could be improved is the housing on the nipple on bottle could be a little less stiff. Bottle is also easy to re-insert into hydration belt. Worth the money!!

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: I'm not a runner, purchased this to use for forest preserve dog walks. Can carry water along hands free, the squirt type bottle is good for giving the dog (and myself) a drink. The little zippered storage compartment is a bit small, could fit keys, id and some money. If you have a smart phone it will not fit in here.

Cons Best Uses Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: I am training for my first half-marathon and needed something I could bring out on longer runs. I've never used a belt before, mainly due to concerns over bounce and noise. I'm happy to report I had neither issue while using this belt! The 12oz. bottle is the perfect size (every other belt I've seen is 20oz.) and nestled right into my lower back. No issue with slipping, bouncing, or splashing. Highly recommend!

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: Training for first 1/2 marathon, I was looking for a running belt that was lightweight and small enough for my needs. I chose the 12 oz. bottle size as that is all I felt I needed for the distances I run regularly. This belt sits comfortably along my lumbar (no bouncing or rubbing), and the belt around my waist does not rub or become intrusive. The zipper pouch is a tad small (my cell phone does not quite fit all the way in), but it holds just about everything else I need. I would not hold that part against my overall rating as I said earlier, I wanted something small in size.

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: I run long distances and trained all last year for a marathon with a hand-held water bottle. I live in Mississippi and training here throughout the summer can be dangerous because of the heat. I decided to try this one because I just needed a change.

Comments about Amphipod Profile Lite 12 ounce Hydration: I don't drink a lot of water, so I was looking for something small. You do need to wear it on your waist instead of your hips to keep it still.
