Comments about Amphipod RunLite Airstretch 2+ Hydration: When my runs started pushing 8 miles I realized I simply wasn't going to be able to continue on 20 oz of beverage anymore and I was getting really annoyed by carrying my handheld bottle. I knew it was time to look for a belt but wasn't ready to spend $50-$60 for a 4 bottle belt that I wasn't quite ready for either. I did a lot of research and finally discovered this belt which was perfect because I can add bottles as I'm ready, was already familiar with the brand, it was reasonably priced and so are the add on's I can buy. Verdict, I could buy the belt I needed now for less money and grow into it as I was ready. I am very happy with the minimal bounce and the ability to balance my bottle holders where I want them on the belt. The pouch is big enough for me to carry my gel packs, my car key and my phone so my friends and family will stop worrying about me running without a phone. AND I'm finally totally hands free which makes me VERY HAPPY. The only con is that the belt. when adjusted to my size has excess hanging over...may have to sew on some more velcro to solve that problem if I lose anything more on my waist. I do have to adjust it a little more snug after I drink some of the fluids but I think that would be the case with any belt.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite Airstretch 2+ Hydration: I purchased this belt because I had read some reviews of other brands of belts and felt this would be the best fit for me (I run 25+ miles a week). The performance of this belt is great! The bottles snap securely in the clamps but are not hard to remove by any means. They stay in place whether you are running at a jogging pace or flat out. As long as you keep the belt tight, it will not move around at all and nothing bounces.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite Airstretch 2+ Hydration: i love my amphipod hydration belt. i always take my handheld bottle on runs but needed more hydration on my longer runs. i love this thing!! it is so nice to have free hands again. the bottles are easy to pop in and out and it is nice to have a small pouch for gels and kleenex! it has these elastic bands on the pouch for your gels but i use one for my mp3 player. i have wore it up around my waist and on my hips and have not had any issues with it moving or bouncing at all, it stays in place. i am 5'4" and weigh 107 pounds, i was able to adjust it down to my waist size with no problems. i also like that the bottles can be moved to where you want them (i like one in the front and one right on the center of my back). if you are looking for a hydration belt, this is the one to get.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite Airstretch 2+ Hydration: I wore this hydration belt on four half marathons run in four consecutive months (September-December 2012) and found them adequate but not particularly outstanding. They "snap" into place and do not always do so "easily." Using them with gloves in winter running is a real chore. For practice runs and one half marathon a bottle did NOT snap in place properly and it fell to the ground (not a good thing in a pack of runners). You really have to ensure they "snap" into place! Also, the tops tend to leak when laid sideways during transport.

Comments about Amphipod RunLite Airstretch 2+ Hydration: I originally had a Nathan sports four bottle water belt, but the pouch wasn't big enough for today's sized smartphones so I was looking for something different. Ended up trying out the amphipod because its description/specifications on the pouch seemed like it should fit my HTC Thunderbolt, which is a rather large sized phone. My phone fits perfect with room still for an ID/drivers license, credit card, and key if needed. I also chose this because I liked the concept of being able to move all the components into a position I wanted. Since the belt itself is adjustable, it was slightly difficult to get the pouch into a position I wanted, but with some work I got it over the sizing buckle to where I wanted it. The bottles are much easier to position. Compared to the Nathan belt, this is great. Larger pouch, more adjustable (the Nathan belt's bottle holders and pouches are all fixed), and I think the bottles are a little better.
