This is a great shoe. The first time I ran in these, I ordered 2 more pairs for future running. The shoe has great cushioning and durability. So far, I have 450 miles on the first pair and they still feel comfortable.

Such a mis-step from the Cumulus VI. The forefoot groove in the outsole just feels so wrong. Almost as if the shoe ends at the ball of your foot. I e-mailed Asics and asked what happened and got a generic response that they "improved" the shoe.
These got returned and I bought a pair of Cumulus VI instead. Try the Gel-Landreth II or III, they are what the Cumulus used to be.

I run six days/35+ miles a week. I use to run in New Balance 764 and switched to Asics Gel-Cumulus VII. This shoe is easier on my knees and much more comfortable for longer runs. I have logged over 300 miles in this shoe without any discomfort.
