Before these ASICS, I thought it was normal to have my feet go numb after a few miles. I have long, narrow feet and unstable ankles. I require a lot of cushion as I am 5'10 and weigh 155 lbs --- these shoes were perfect for my needs (but remember everyone does indeed have different needs). I am disappointed they are being discontinued and hope other ASCISes live up to these high standards.

they fit great. formed to my foot very quickly and i couldn't feel the ground when i was running.

Be wary if you have narrow heels -- I liked the shoe in general when I tried it, but my heels slipped. Went with the 2120, which are now just as light as these shoes. If they fit, you'll have no problems I imagine.
