I tried this shoe three times then put it away for good. No cushioning. Just a hard, dead shoe. Curiously, I've found Asics Solyte trainers (Landreth 3, Cumulus 9) just awful, but love the Gel Ohana. Maybe less is more.

I thought that I'd try the Landreths for economic reasons. I'll probably stick with the Nimbus or the Saucony Triumphs. The Landreths are good on the threadmill, but not for asphalt. running. No cushion.Maybe they're not broke in yet?

Just passed 600 miles on a pair, these shoes still feel great. They have really retained their cushion and have the best ride I've ever experienced. I am actually sorry to see they have updated this shoe, I hope the update performs as well.

Tryed seveal shoes, but love this one. Had all kinds of foot problems before, but after running in these none what so ever.I'm 5'11 170lbs run around 15 miles a week.

For me 5'10" 160, 2:50 marathoner. This is one of the top 3 or 4 shoes I've had in the last 8 years. Fantastic from the start - wore properly. Great shoe.

I'm back. I just had to say that I don't like these shoes. I loved the first 2 versions. I don't know if I got a bad pair or what, but the cushioning is so hard, it's a completely different shoe.

Best shoe I have ever run in. (6'1" 185 lbs) Comfortable just right fit, great cushion and extremely smooth ride heel to toe-off. Coincidence maybe but I've had a PR in every race I've run in these shoes. I was a big Brooks fan until I tried these, have over 500 miles on a pair and they still fee...

I rotate these shoes with the new balance 755's and I must say I like the NB's alot better. I like the lighter weight and the cushion at first but the cushion went away before 200miles and now they just feel hard to run in. I do like them but not a great deal.

Unfortunately I am not in love with this shoe. I had the previous 2 models and LOVED them, but these are lacking in the cushioning department and are tough to get a good fit when lacing up. I have wide feet, so I was excited when I read that the forefoot on these was wide, but it's too wide. I can't...

Mon, October 01,2007:
At first, the heel seemed too high and the forefoot cushioning hurt me right at the joint of my big toe. I wasn't happy to say the least. However, after I broke them in a little, these problem went away. The heel still seems to high and it makes the shoe a little twisty, worrying me about future ank...

I have run a number of half marathons and half Ironman triathlons in this shoe as well as lots of training miles. This is the best shoe I have ever used including other Asics models and other brands. It is light (for a trainer) with good cushioning and flexibility. They say if the shoe fits - wea...

I've worn 10+ pairs of the previous models of the Landreth, and it was one of the best shoes Asics has ever made. However, they have altered the sizing on this shoe, making it wider and longer. Sizing down doesn't seem to work for me. Sigh.

Lightweight shoe, but that is about it. My feet slip and my left fascists muscle was bothering me then it caused ankle and calf tightness. After a three mile run. I believe there is two much mesh to offer any type of foot support.

Switched from Gel Trainer 12. This shoe is fantastic!!! Comfortably wide with great toe box!!!

For those who are rating these shoes a 5, you've got to be kidding. As Kini noted, the heel is way too wide. My foot was floating all over the place. How does one expect to run well in such a sloppy fit. Also, there isn't any arch support, I noticed fascitis creeping in within a mile of running....

If you have a high arch on your foot and are about 180 lbs ... this is the perfect shoe for you. My shin Splints problems are gone!

I have had very good luck with these shoes. I'm 6'1" 185 and these shoes have the best ride that I have experienced so far. I've tried both the Landreth 1 and 2 models and was not impressed with them for long runs, but these 3s have performed very well on long runs. They are light and stable with...

Fri, June 29,2007:
The Landreth 2 was a reasonably cushioned shoe. Not my favorite, but I got some use out of it. The 3 was a big disappointment. It seems like the reduced the weight by removing cushioning. If your really looking for cushioning, pass on this shoe.

Mon, May 28,2007:
I'm 6'1", 170#, and almost exclusively a forefoot striker. This is an interesting shoe, compared to the Landreth 2. Lighter and a bit more flexible, BUT, where did the arch support go?! With the Landreth 2, even without as much forefoot cushioning as, say, the Wave Precision, I could still run on...

Tue, April 17,2007:
I run all of my longer (20+) trail runs in this shoe. I also have worn them in 50s and expect to wear it in my 100 this summer. Light, soft but not squishy, fits like a glove - a loose one. I have a 10.5 - 11 foot and I wear size 12s. I wear lots of shoes for training - but this is the one I dep...
