I love these shoes for high impact aerobics classes. I have high arches and need a large toe box and these shoes deliver! They have lasted months longer than any other traing shoe I ever owned.

I hate these shoes. They wore through in the heels in less than a month of wearing on the treadmill and elliptical. I got blisters. What an expensive mistake!!!

The GEL-Kayano Trainer is a lot stiffer everywear than my usual Nimbus model or the Kayano 13. I wear an 8 1/2 Nibus, and I should have gone up 2 sizes because of high arches, an ordered a 9-the shoe presses on the top of my foot and numbs the toes. It will be great once broken in, but it will take some time. It reminds me of a Saucony! I'd try one on first before ordering!

I have very narrow heels and my shoes would slip unless i tied them a special way and really tight.
I was also having pain in my calf and went through several shoe buys/returns. Finally I came accross the new Kayano 13, which i ordered in my true size (7). I have been running in them for 1 month now and the pain is gone and my heel doesnt slip. Thnak you for the great service RoadRunner.

Asics redesigned the Gel Kayano 13 to have a roomy toe box. I have run in Asics DS-Trainers and Gel Kayano for over 30 years, they origianlly were called "Tigers". I have always sized 'up' 1/2 size. Street shoe 7.5, Asics Size 8.
The Kayano 13, in my opinion, does not need to be sized up 1/2 size.
My 8's are actually a little big and feel 'floppy' when I run. Too late to exchange, ran on the street.
