6', 200 lbs., I am not the fastest runner, but I will look for the best racers for my 5k's. These are the best that I have found since the Magic Racers I had about six or seven years ago. I just ordered a second pair of Piranhas to have when my current pair are retired.

These shoes looked much better on the screen. When I got them they looked like they were going to rip the first time I wore them. They are like wearing socks. Very light weight and great for racing but I dont think they will last long. The outer frame is weak. It seems like they are going to rip any...

great looking, super light, super fast, but order normal size. i ordered a 1/2 size up and is between 1/2 to a full size too big.

Amazingly light and fast. These shoes are only 4.8 ounces, they're all business. These aren't made for speedwork, to be comfortable, or to run marathons in. They're made to fit like a slipper (which they do), and to make you run as fast as possible.

Absolute worse racing flat ever! So light that I didn't think they were in the box. They are constructed like paper. No support what so ever. Anything longer than 800 meters will hurt your feet tremendously. I wish I could return them.

I don't like Asics shoes too much motion control in them, but this is the only one that I like, its like the adidas adizero pr, and if your a pose runner these two are really good!

This is a very good shoe for 5k-10k races, if you have an efficient forefoot strike. As a racer it is equivalent to the Adizero PR and the Mizuno Wave Universe, which weigh about the same, though the Asics may be a tad more comfortable when you first put it on.

These shoes are definitely not made for doing a marathon but they did their job for me. Three weeks ago I did a 10K race with a regular trainer, and finished with a time of 38:21. This past weekend I tried the Piranha, and on a more difficult course finished with a time of 37:15. This was a PB ...

This is great if you're looking for a racer, but if you're looking for a lightweight trainer, avoid these shoes! Trust me on this, steer far away from this shoe. When they came in the mail, a non-running friend remarked on their cheap look, I brushed him off- they were simply "the fastest racing flat produced by asics in the US" and nothing more! I wore them in on a light run, then wore them to my race. 5 mile...

This shoe is amazingly light and has awesome traction but the upper felt like it was going to rip at any moment. I also ordered up a 1/2 size like it says but the shoe was a FULL SIZE too big when I tried them on so I had to send them back and I ordered the adidas adizero pr's instead.

I HAVE ALWAYS DIS LIKED ASICS. I WON A PAIR OF THESE A FEW WEEKS AGO. I NORMALLY WEAR THE NIKE XC...I CANNOT BELIEVE THE COMFORT THAT THESE FLATS HAVE ALONG WITH THE FEATHER WEIGHT FEEL!! I WAS FIGHTING TO GO UNDER 15 MINUTES IN THE 5K, AND WITH MY FIRST RUN IN THESE ASICS I RAN 14:51!!! SWEEET!!!
