Have been very happy with these shoes, but was hoping for better durability. Just bought my second pair. First pair are starting to tear out in the bottom of the uppers after only 275 miles. May be from the gravel trails I run on a lot. We'll see....

I have put over 100 miles on this shoe, my first pair of Asics, of any kind. I was very impressed immediately and still am. Seems to have the right mix of cushion and responsiveness.

6'1" 220 lbs. shoes feel great. good support and fit. only complaint is slight heel slippage. laced the shoes up back to the eyelet under the ankle. this corrected the slippage problem but the laces are a little too short.

Just finished a 20 miler in these and it was a breeze, great comfort, support, no hot spots, stability great over gravel & uneven surfaces. Love the 2000 series, the 2120 & now the 2130. 5'9" 160 flat feet, wide forefoot is perfect.

Great fitting shoe, no heel slip like mizuno aspire. 6ft 2in and 220 pounds. Do not understand what the big deal is about the kayanos but these shoes feel great. Not as snug in the midfoot as kayanos. Went out for a 3 mile run and no problems. Why pay the extra forty dollars for a kayano?

I run 15-20 miles a week. I had a pair of Nike running shoes prior to these. After about 6-8 miles in my Nike's my feet, ankles, and knees would start to hurt. Now that I have these Asics I don't have that problem. These are the best running shoes I've ever used. I use these combined with the F...

I really like this shoe. I have low arches and am a light weight runner (150 lbs). I used to wear the Asics Gel Foundation VII; I quit because I didn't like the changes made in it from the VI. The GT 2130 has a great fit, just enough cushioning, and the slight arch support I need.

I miss the 2120 as the 2130 doesn't have as much arch support infortunately... not even close!! I will keep my 2130's but just use them for walking insetad. Now, I need to order several more pair of 2120 as it will be my running shoe of choice.

I left the 2100 series with the 2120, went to Kayano, but the new 14 sent me back and to my surprise this is a much better shoe. Good support, instant out of box fit, and great cushioning.

Comfortable shoe. I like the cushioning. But after 172 miles the lining around the back of the heel broke. It creates painful blisters. This is my 1st Asics (5th shoe as a runner) and the only one that I will have to change because it broke.

Agree with other reviewers that this shoe resembles the 2080 in ride. Fit is superb for a normal to slightly narrow foot. If you liked the wider fit of the 2090 and 2110, you may not like the slightly snug fit of the 2030. The Solyte cushioning is no problem for me, even following 20+ mile runs. ...

I just don't get it....these shoes are just awful after the first few runs. It shin pain, knee pain etc. I wonder if Asics put its logo on a pair of crocs and called them the 2140 they would automatically win the Editors Choice award.

These shoes look good, and felt great right away. However, very quickly, I developed pain in my left achilles. My wife, in women's GT-2130s, also developed left heel pain, on the outside. I called RRS. The Fit Expert with whom I spoke said the heel on these is more narrow than earlier models. T...

Much better comfort and fit than the 2120 which irritated the top of my big toe and just felt too tight.
The 2130 feels more like the 2080 with a wider forefoot and toe box, resulting in NO irritation and plenty of toe room.
The 2080 was the best shoe I wore in the past 20 years. It performed excep...

I'm 5'10", 170 lbs. Pretty flat foot, standard width, and heel striker. I'm also a really big freak about not having any heel slip when I run. I switched to to these following several years in the GT 1100 series. It was a mistake. I wanted to go to something stiffer (which this shoe is), but it...

I have not had them long enough to speak about the durability, but they ran well right out of the box.
