Longtime Asic GT runner but this shoe is the worst by far. I was worried about the reviews on this shoe but Asic had done well by me in the past. These felt great the first few (short) runs but 10 miles into my first long run, it seemed like all the cushioning was squeezed out and I was running on b...

This is the best stability shoe I have ever worn. I run around 30 miles a week in the shoes and my first pair lasted over six months before I had to replace them. The only negative about the shoes is that they are being discontinued. It's a great shoe. Well worth the money. Stock up on these in case...

I personally don't get the complaints about this shoe - I think it's great. No problems for me with the amount of cushioning and the stability is top-notch. I'll definitely stock up on these now that they're d/c'ed.

Really bad shoe- cushioning is dead after some 100 miles- my legs and knees are hurting (never ever had this problem), serious blisters on feet, inner lining wears out after 60 miles. Don't by it!!! My worst running shoe ever. Back to Adidas

Serious waste of money. The ride is unresponsive right out of the box and the cusioning is DEAD after two months. It gave me blisters on my arch, despite using plenty of BodyGlide on my feet. Lastly, this pushed my feet forward as I ran so I bloodied my toes, even though I ordered my usual size (hal...

Have trained in this shoe since 2070....only the 2120 was below excellent....really like the 2130, haven't heard anything about a 2140???? I'd consider stocking up on 2130's if this is the end of the line.

I gave these 5 stars in the beginning. When they're new they feel firm, but after 100 miles, they feel like running on bags of goo.

gt-2120 is too stiff.
this shoes is more softer than gt-2120

running on asics since the 2080. with the 2130 beginning to develop sore achilles. i'd be interest to know if anyone else has similar issue. perhaps it's the midsole issues others mention with the solyte.

have used GT's since GT2060. overall gt2130 is good; but not as good as some of the older models. good stability and not too heavy. i got 1/2 size up as recommended and had to return and get normal size. significant heel slippage in the first 75 miles, now not problem. gt2130 wears out more quic...

For the longest time I never had a running shoe that would support my low arch. The 2130 not only brings support but the cushion around the whole foot is remarkable. I am 5'-6" and 150 lbs. Running or walking around town makes the journey very comfortable and enjoyable. Currently, I am on my second ...

The last of this series I tried were the 2110's which were too unstable for me. These seem to be stable, with good bounce. Could be a little firmer.

~5'10"/150lb/mod pro~ Enjoyed it when new and used on an indoor track. Once I started running outside with them I began to feel much impact. Cushioning didn't seem to last long. I do not like the transition of this shoe either. In all fairness, it is quite light and responsive.

Long time runner with the GT series (go back to the GT 2070). Great shoe overall, but they don't last as long as the older models. I used to get 400 miles out of the older models, now I only get 300. Also, the inside lining near the top eyelets and around the heel show wear. The durability issues a...

These are a softer shoe than the 2120s and perhaps too soft for me since I wear orthotics and have a flexible foot with low arches. I feel that I am leaving something behind on the pavement--too cushy and not enough responsiveness is my first impression. The upper fits well--it is just the midsole...

6'2" 180 lbs. Great shoe. Better cushioning than 2120s with great support. Noticed some heel slippage but lacing the shoes back to the farthest eyelet corrected the problem. Typically run 50-70 miles a week, mostly road but some gravel.

Best shoe ever. 6'2" 230lbs, high arch, over-pronator weightlifter who likes to run. Even better than the Gel Nimbus 7's. Everything else gives me knee, ankle, lower back pain. I need major cushoning and stability and this shoe did it. I am amazed. I thought I'd never fall in love again, but I...

These have been my best experience with Asics yet! 5'10" 165 lbs
Have owned several 2110 and 2120s.
I like these the best of all. Running about 30-35 miles a week. Prepping for my first half marathon.
2130s rock!

Have been very happy with these shoes, but was hoping for better durability. Just bought my second pair. First pair are starting to tear out in the bottom of the uppers after only 275 miles. May be from the gravel trails I run on a lot. We'll see....

I have put over 100 miles on this shoe, my first pair of Asics, of any kind. I was very impressed immediately and still am. Seems to have the right mix of cushion and responsiveness.
