I have flat feet, an over-pronator, 5"10, 160 lbs, and run 16 miles per week. This shoe has been great for me. I used the Gel-Kayano, but was overkill and much more expensive. Found that I didn't need the additional support after use the RoadRunner shoe guide. I found my last pair of Gel Foundat

I have used Asics motion control shoes for more than 10 years and aside from the Foundation 7s (sizing wasn't quite right) have been extremely satisfied. I find I have to replace after about 450 miles.
