Shoes were not supportive. I have an average arch and could not sense the arch support in these shoes. Also, wearing them caused feeling of fatigue in feet and legs. Not a 'feel good' feeling after wear.

I'm a walker, not a runner. But I always choose Asics running shoes for my walks. I used to be a 2100 fan but recently switched to the Gel 1140. So far this shoe is perfect. Cushy enough that I don't need inserts. On my smaller foot, it's looser around the heel; once I switched to walking socks, the fit is perfect. I expect this shoe to be my new favorite.

I ran an 8-miler and 10-miles the following day on these new shoes and it felt wonderful! For me the cushioning was - well, cushy - and like stepping on a cloud. I luv my Asics!

I needed a replacement for the Brooks Adrenaline. It took me about two weeks to break these in, but now they're great! Needs a little more cushioning, but with different inserts they were much better. Also, much lighter and not as controlling of my foot as the 2140. I've only run up to 10 miles in these, so I'm not sure how they'll do for my longer runs but I'm hoping this will be my new favorite!

I ran a marathon in these shoes. I didn't have a single blister. They could use a little more cushioning, but other than that a great shoe.
