I was looking for a new pair of shoes. 6'1", 185, run 30 per week. Bought a pair of Zoots, feet, knees immediately started to break down. Went out and bought 1140s and pain went away within days. Love these shoes. Great cushioning at an amazing price. And in white w/blue, they look great too.

I'm 5' 8” 170, run 15 to 20 miles a week. I have a neutral foot strike, but need a support shoe for runs over 4 miles. The 1140 is a great shoe! I've have 1120's, 1130's and now the 1140's. IMO the 1140 is a mix of the 1120 and 1130. It has the cushioning of the 1120 with the fit/last of the 1130. I love the Speva mid-sole on this shoe. I think that Speva is safe for now, because Asics just released the Pulse this year – another great Speva shoe (check the ratings). Also, Check out the reviews on the 2110 – yet another Speva shoe. I'm finally retiring my 1120's with over 300 miles:-( The 1120 was my favorite of the three, but the 1140 is a close second. It would be tie for first - if it had the same roomy last as the 1120's.
