these can no way be compared to the kayano. They are stiff in comparison and are fine as a trail walking shoe but I cannot run in them. But darn, they do look good.

These shoes provide great fit, cushioning, and stability. I hike/trail run on loose gravel and dry dirt and I never have to worry about slipping and sliding.
