I am a large 230+ pound runner that puts in 20-30 miles a week. GREAT all around shoe for the trail and the road. The traction is very good in wet or snowy conditions. Extremely good support and stability for a large runner. Has quickly become my favorite running shoe!

Excellent shoe. One of the most comfortable and stable that I have ever worn. I have to agree with a previous post when they said that the shoe seems to last forever. After a hundred miles, the rubber has less than average wear.

This shoe lasts forever. The rubber compound on the bottom is harder than the standard compound and therefore doubled the life of my shoes over the standard asics road shoe. Also the toebox has a layer of thicker protection when you hit the front of the shoe on a rock. This shoe is well designed for the trail and has the same cushioning as the road shoes.

Excellent cushioning and very stable especially when running down hills on pavement. More stable than the non-trail version. Great traction for dirt/gravel climbs.

Just got back from a 10 mile trail run and they were great. The trail was rocky, steep ups and downs with ruts. Cushioning is just right for a trail shoe, I would call it medium cushion. Bottom of shoe protected foot from pointy rocks bruising my feet. Ankle height felt really good. Tread did not throw dirt up into back of the heal of my shoes. Excellent shoe in my book.
