I am a high arch, 6'3, 205lbs. these shoes are great. I replaced both of my sets at about the 350 mile mark. Shoes held up great, cushioning started to go out. I run about 20-30 miles a week. Highly reccomended.

Great balance of soft feel and light weight. Also has just a touch of stability, but accomplishes this without an intrusive and annoying medial post that so often makes the shoes uncomfortable around 350 miles. Very happy with this shoe at about 110 miles and so far it is wearing very well. I'm holding out hope that this shoe will be the long lost 450-500 mile trainer I've lacked since the Landreth 4 was updated.

Great shoe. Good cushioning. Just the right amount of support. The only Negative is that this show is not as breathable as I'd like. Go with thin socks if you get this shoe. Nice wide toebox. I Run 20 miles a week and these feel good on the roads.

switching to these from brooks glycerin 7, kind of sloppy, expensive, asic nimbus too soft in the heel, like running in quicksand, and expensive, holding out hope for cumulus.

I replaced my Nimbus 11s with the Cumulus 11. The Nimbus is too wide and sloppy. The Cumulus 11 is narrower and lighter with just the right amount of cushion for me (185lbs). Ran a half marathon in them this past weekend and have no complaints.

This is the first Cumulus since the 7 that actually feels similar to the 7s! So if you're a huge Cumulus 7 fan like me, you'll love this. Try flicking your toes on the toe-off while running and sorta land on midfoot and you'll fly in this... of course that kinda stride should come natural to you to really appreciate this shoe.

I'm very happy with these shoes. The C-10's causd me severe knee pain on my first run with them. I got the 11's immediately when they came out Trained for and ran a marathon in Sep and didn't have any pain (from the shoe!). Great shoe!

Great shoe. I'm impressed. Been away from Asics for quite a while. The more I run in these the better they get. I like the snug upper fit. I love the smooth ride. They are not too soft, and not too firm. Just right. Good lightweight feel to them for a regular training shoe. Very good feel to them when running hills. Responsive when throwing in surges. Asics keep this up and I will be a loyal Asics fan for life!

I've been running in Asics for about 4 years and this is the first pair that I have not been 100% satisified with. When I first started using the shoes I had a lot of pain in the ball of my feet and it seemed as though my feet were rolling inward. I had to adjust my stride which caused some minor shin and knee pain. Not sure if problem is due to large heel cushion or lack of support in the front - inside part of the shoe. I run between 25-35 miles a week and have put about 400 miles on the shoes... they have held up well but I will not be purchasing this model again.

Have loved cumulus line for last 2 years. 10's are my favorite. love cushion in heel but have developed shin splints and self-assessment of stride suggests heel being too soft and allowing pronation. place medial heel wedge with some improvement. weight 150# and running 40+ training for marathon. not sure where to go from here...maybe back to find 10's again.

This shoe is one of the most comfortable shoes I have tried. The transition feels very natural. I have one caution. I rotate between this shoe and the asics 2140. I size up a 1/2 size for both shoes. The 2140 fits perfect. However, this shoe fits much snugger in the toe box so I would recommend a full size up if you buy the cumulus 11.

I have previously worn Landreths, but really like this shoe. The fit is very comfortable, aided by an interior padded area to help the shoe fit more snug at the mid-foot. The heel cushioning is great and the heel to toe transition feels very quick. This is the closest shoe I have found to the Landreth 2s I really liked.

Great shoe. Switched from MIzuno Waverider for a bit more cushion. Love how the shoe wraps around the foot. Only downside is that it does seem to need a bit more ventilation. Feels hot down here in the South!

update - 1 month later, and as much as I was trying to be disappointed in these, they are winning me over now, consistently being the shoes I happen to be wearing every time I set a new fastest time. Also, I added a 2 dollar air pillow under the asics liner, and instantly transformed these into ultra-plush cruisers!

The best fitting asics i've worn in a while, similar to the landreth 2. The last 4 years i've had to bounce between my normal 10.5D to 10 or 10e withe the illfitting 2140. the 10.5 are loose and sloppy in most of the shoes except this one and the ds14. The weight is light with good support and great cushion. If you need a more snug fit with better cushion and stability than the nimbus give these a try.

I switched from Brooks Glycerin 6 to the cumulus. Cumulus is a light shoe and provides just the right amount of support. I'm 5'11" 200 lbs. and the cushioning is perfect. I run about 25 miles a week and the cumulus is very comfortable. The only complaint is that the collar just touches the bottom of my ankles. But no blisters or chaffing. Just worth mentioning. This is my first pair of Asics. I will continue to run in Cumulus models if they are like this model.

WOW, I'm loving these shoes, the tongue and sock liner really lock you foot in and it's comfortable. the cushion is great, I really like the gel in the forefoot. Just an over all good shoe for a good price

Trey is right on about the lack of width in these compared to c-10s. My cumulus 11s in 2e width are not as wide as the cumulus 10s in standard width. Better order up in width!

This review is only for the fit of the Cumulus 11 in comparison to the Cumulus 10. The toe-box of the 11 seems considerably smaller to me -- not quite sure if it's a length or volume issue, but whatever the cause my toes are rubbing on the overlays. Very aggravating that I have to go up at least a 1/2 size from the Cumulus 10's -- particularly since I called RRS ahead of time and was advised the 11's would fit "very similarly" to the 10's.

I need a lot of cush, but also a bit of stability too, and while I really like the light weight, support and subtle stability these offer, they are lacking in adequate cushioning for this 43 year old 160 pounder, as my first 3 miler left me with an aching knee, and my second 3 miler an achy ankle (never had this problem before with my nb1223s). Additionally, I find the flat spot on the forefoot makes these a little clip-cloppy too, despite all my efforts to emulate the smooth h-t the New Balance TS2 provides. I guess that's it; these shoes just make me think about my feet too much when running!

First time out today and I'm 100% satisfied. Great feel, fit, cushioning is real good, they are the best feeling shoe I've had in quite sometime. I am ordering another pair. It seems I've had issues of some kind with all kinds of shoes lately but so far these felt awesome right out of the box. I recommend these.

I bought these to replace Saucony Triumph 6 (liked the softness of the T6 but feet were hurting after 15 miles), The Cumulus 11 remain light, but the abundant cushioning is balanced with a stiffer midsole and so I feel a more efficient stride. I have run 3 5-6 mile runs on these and I am pleased with the fit. Tomorrow a 18 miler in the new Nimbus 11...

Concur it's a very cushioned shoe both in the heel and forefoot. Improved forefoot and toebox (not so wide) and the lacing allows you to now have tighter fit along the arch. Probably a bit too mushy for some in the heel, but great for longer training runs, but great for me at 5-10 & 160 lb neutral runner! :+)

I just picked up this shoe from a local running store. It feels like I am running on marshmellows. I haven't done a 10+ mile run on them yet but they are perfect for 5 miles. My feet do feel a bit hot in them though, and the cushion may bother some people. I'm a 6' 190 pound neutral runner. Would get 5 stars if it had better ventilation.
