I have owned 4 pairs of Cumulus, including the 9s and the 10s. The 11s are awful. I agree with Heather. The toe box is extremely too narrow. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe and always order a 7 1/2 running shoe. These were extremely tight just trying them on. I ran two 5-mile runs in these and each time my toes lost circulation and were screaming in pain. It was as if the shoe had too much cushioning and felt bulky to run in. I will be returning these!

I have been running in Cumulus for several updates (since Cumulus 8) They are great shoes, very cushy yet lightweight and roomy in the toebox. However I've noticed that the midsole in the Cumulus 11 wears out more quickly than the previous models, and if I don't switch to a fresh pair immediately I experience knee pain.

I have a narrow heel and these shoes fit without my having to re-lace them for my narrow heel. They have great cushioning, but they don't last very long. My girlfriend and I have similar feet (high arch, narrow-ish) and she loves the Nimbus, but it doesn't work for me. If the Cumulus isn't perfect for you, try the Nimbus.

I was somewhat disappointed with these shoes. I usually run in nike zoom vomero 3's and decided to try these. They are cushioned but in strange spots. I recommend them for short runs only, the heel is very high and after just 5 miles I had a blister just under my ankle.

I have used these shoes for several years now, through marathon training and several half-marathons (different pairs, of course) and absolutely love them.

I average 25-30 miles per week and have been pleased with these. The fit is great with just enough cushionig and are still light weight. I wish the tounge was slightly longer but other but great shoe all around. They are much better than the 10's.

I moved to this shoes from the Brooks Glycerin 7 after being a dedicated user for 3 year. Instantly noticed how much lighter the Cumulus 11 is! Loved the light feel and the guidance my foot gets when running. The Cumulus is roomier than the Glycerin in the forefoot and has less support there than the Glycerin (there are no hard overlays on the forefoot of the shoe). This may take some time to get used to if you are transitioning from a more supportive runner. Now I find it easier to keep good form with these shoes, which is a great plus for me. I use the shoes with custom orthotics.

Excellent shoes! I just got a pair and ran in them this morning. Perfect fit, great cushioning. Not only do these shoes perform well, they look fantastic. Unlike the 9/10 versions, this one has a more perfected fit with a perfect height for the hill. I found previous versions to be too high. I got a gray and blue paid and considering getting another one already. If you like comfy shoes, get these. They are excellent. Got to run!

Disappointed. I have gotten the cumulus for several years and have loved them. However, the 11s feel much more narrow in the toebox than in previous years. Am debating exchanging for something else as they are currently painful to run in.

Pillowy ride is a spot on description on this shoe. I am 5'6, 150#, underpronator runner with very high arches that uses a neutral and flexible shoe that also suffers occasional overuse pains from an old knee injury. Have been averaging 18+ miles per week very happily on Adidas Supernova Glides (a slightly softer ride that the Sequence 2 version of Supernovas but tends to have faster tread/cushion weardown. Any Brooks shoe have been too solid a ride for the knee injury. I had nearly forgotten how much I have missed wearing Asics gels from long ago when I would shop at running stores that never seemed to have my size in stock till I came across this website. Thanks to the expert shoe guides, phone assistance and these reviews, I not only have my fav shoes back but I was able to fit my marathoner husband's 6'0. 180# neutral, stability feet better than all the biannual trips to running stores to be fitted to only what was left in stock. He is running in the Asics GT 2110 with much success

I've been wearing the Cumulus for years. I was really disappointed in last years version (the 10's) but I am loving the 11's. Not sure what they changed but they seem much better!

These shoes were OK. The heel collar seemed a little high, rubbing just below my ankle. Forefoot cushioning felt odd to me....like it was in just the wrong spot to permit normal stride on me. My feet persistently turn out when I run in these--something I do not do in other shoes---or even barefoot.

These are fitting me a bit more narrower than other models of the Cumulus. I've been running in Cumulus for years, but they have never felt too narrow. Other then that they are still the great Cumulus that I love...light weight and great cushion.
