The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I am 5'10" 190lbs and I run a lot in the military and in 18 years have seen the evolution of shoes and this is a great shoe that has a good fit and is outstanding for the flat feet I have developed thanks to Uncle Sam. My feet feel great after PT runs and there is less wear-and-tear on my feet and lower legs and they make running easier thanks to the technology in them that really works for me. Ordered a half size up and they fit well with medium weight socks and lightweight socks when laced tighter. Great shoe and with RRS return policy take the chance on them if you want a shoe that will work with you and your low arches/flat feet and also provide great cushioning, support and control. I did and I'm very satisfied now.

Outstanding motion control plus shoe. Toe box and heel are in perfect proportion to the shoe size. Light weight for such great cushioning. I love this model.

The comfort of this shoe supersedes any other complaint anyone would have. For all the cushioning it has i believe it is an extremely light shoe. If your a big guy in stature this is the shoe for you. The support is un believable. The best way to describe it is like running with pillows tighed to your feet.

I've had PF for the past year, so I need as much support as possible. These shoes are really comfortable and provide support that I need. I'd rate the Evolution 6 as my #1 running shoe, followed by Nike's Equalon. If you have PF or arch support issues, I'd highly recommend these shoes.

I'm a police academy cadet. I am 5'9" and 265 lbs. I have low arches. I run anywhere from 5-15 miles a week. I run on the inside of my feet and need the extra arch support and cushioning. These shoes work great for me. I run primarily on hard surfaces. When I occasionally do trail runs, these shoes do the job but I believe there is a more proper shoe for that application. On concrete though, these shoes are great. Did I mention that they are light?

I am an overpronator utilizing the shoe to get in shape. I have completed several several endurance races (5K, 1/2 and full Marathons). It is a very comfortable shoe, but is rather heavy.

At more than 220 lbs and trying to lose weight with running, I quickly experienced knee pain using older running shoes. Shoes I used to use while running a few years ago when I was much lighter.

Fearing that I might have seriously damaged my knee, I bought this shoe. During my initial runs with the new shoes my knee pain persisted. However from Day 4-5 onwards, I noticed that the onset of knee pain during a run progressively delayed and the intensity of the pain at the end of the run started easing. Now after more than 3 weeks with the new shoes, I experience no pain at all.

Of course it is a combination of icing, loss of weight and the shoes that played the part in healing my knee, but I know a large part of the credit goes to the shoes.

I have only missed 3 days of running (planned breaks to help my knee heal) over the last 3 weeks.

If my experience is any indicator, I believe this is a great great shoe for heavy runners.

Excellent motion control shoe. At 6' 245lbs, I am a large runner and a relative newcomer. This shoe is great at providing the right amount of control, support,cushioning, and weight as compared to the New Balance and Saucony shoes that I have tried. I will definitely be getting at least one more pair of these shoes.

These shoes are extremely comfortable to wear for walking long distances or for wearing for a long run. This is my first pair of Asics and I will definately be buying more!

These shoes really work out great for me. I do have to buy them in a wider size; don't have huge feet but the toes area felt tight. I do put my own inserts in and that works out fine. I am a higher mileage runner, somewhat flat feet and over pronate.

I'm a senior citizen and NOT a runner. I use the use the shoe as every day wear. I also have a part time golf shop job and am on my feet all day long. I need a shoe that is comfortable, has good support, and will sustain me for several hours behind the counter. This shoe has it.

I am 71 years old and no longer run, but walk 30 to 35 miles per week for fitness. I have developed a foot problem, and these shoes are the best ones that I have found for about two years.

These are the best running shoes I've owned. I'm in the military, so running is not an options. I've had various knee and foot injuries and over-pronate VERY badly. I had a physical therapist watch my stride once and she recommended these and I've been sold after that. While it didn't eliminate my pain, it did minimize it to where I enjoy running whereas I used to dread it.
