    Comments about Womens ASICS GEL-Pulse 3 Running Shoe:

    I am doing something active 3 to 4 times a week. I recently just picked up running again, on a treadmill not outside (yet). I'm also on my feet quite a bit during the day. I was told during a recent (my first) visit to a podiatrist that I have a moderate to high arch and under-pronate a bit when I walk, which would explain the wear pattern on the bottom- outside of my previous sets of sneakers. My podiatrist said I would be wise to look at shoes that cushion. I did my research and tried on several pairs of sneakers at various retailers before I decided on the Asics Gel Pulse-3. The stability at the heel of this shoe I have never felt before. Firm yet supportive. I was also amazed at the amount of cushioning at the front of the shoe. One of the things I love the most, aside from how AWESOME they look is the fact there is a good solid feel to the heel and a slight raise to it which has been so nice going up steps. I have a tight Achilles tendon which has caused me to overcompensate over the years by stepping on my toes when going up stairs. That has lead to a couple of foot injuries and pulled tendons over the years. Most recently a small contusion in my right foot. So these shoes are AMAZING. They've corrected almost everything wrong with my walking and running gait since I've been wearing them. Did I mention how good they look, too??
