        Just started running in these a week ago and love 'em. These shoes are light weight and comfortable, responsive and fast. Legs felt good after run, almost felt as if shoes ran for me :-) I am using this shoe for cross training activities, will report back on durability at a later date!

        This is a great shoe. Feels better than my old Asics at about 2 oz less. Plenty comfy, but flexible so there's no foot-flop. There're always improvements to be made though. I'd like to see slightly different lacing configuration (can cut circulation if not careful) and about half as much heel.

          6'2" male 225lbs. Run 3-4 days a week 10-15 miles total. These shoes are narrower than most Asics I've owned. I'm a mid foot striker (supinator) these shoes make a strange noise on each step. Even with headphones on I could hear myself and oddly enough I thought I sounded like a horse galloping. ??? Sending these back and trying something else.

                  I have ran in Asics for 5+ years and have never had an injury in any of them. This winter, I got the Excel33, half size bigger than normal. I developed a neuroma in my foot. During the healing, I exchanged them for my regular size. Since I have been able to run after it cleared up, I went out in my first run in the correct size sneaker. I still felt that little tweak that woulve aggrivated my neuroma had I kept going. Although a very soft, comfortable, and cushy shoe, they weren't that great.
