I run 40-45mpw and put in a lot of miles on pavement. These shoes out of the box are too stiff, but after several miles loosen up nicely while still maintaining excellent support on the medial side. Because of that I expect they'll be super durable and serve well as a great high-mileage trainer for longruns. My favorite feature is that they're flat underfoot unlike a lot of trainers that bow up on the heel and the toe to facilitate heelstriking. These could probably be worn by anyone, but are desgined w/the midfoot strike in mind. Back to the basics in a way. Great shoe, snappy colors, comfortable upper/mesh, long-lasting. Break them in around the town for a few days and then let 'er rip!
Feels light and fast for a big guy!
Marathon training and transitioning from orthotics and Nimbus line into lower profile shoe. This shoe feels protective and lighter weight.Only 2 runs in, but feels fast and helping me into a midfoot strike!
Feels snug in the midfoot, but all round comfort is a plus.

Love this shoe!
This is a great shoe! It feels great! The shoe is low profile; feel like a minimalist shoe. Comfortable and cushiony! Ran 17 & 18 milers right away and didn't feel beat up afterwards. ONLY PROBLEM: heel cups had holes in them after running under 100 miles. I wish the construction of the inside were more durable. Can't go through a pair of shoes every month while training for marathons.

Light weight with a soft ride
I run about 20-25 ml/week and this is my first pair of Asics and I must say they feel great. Although, I generally wear a Neutural shoe these work fine because they have a low arch which is great because I have custome orthodics that gives me the support I need and they offer enough cushion for long runs.
Why Not Wide Size?
ASICS, PLEASE! Make these in Wider size! I normally wear Kayano and 2100 series in Wide size. I really wanted feel the "33", so I gave a shot. Sure enough, they are tight around my fat toe (in other word, they are probably true to width) It's shame because I love how they feel, tried about 10 miles on them and love that minimalistic feel yet just enough buncing. Also felt I was not hiting at heel.
Unfortunately, I had to give up on these awesome shoes because my toes couldn't take it. I'm sure if they were in wide width I would have logged 100 miles by now.
P.S. I wrote to Asics, and all I got was "will pass it to shoes department". I guess I will go back to 2100.
Not your just your ordinary Asics shoe!
I am high-mileage, mid to forefoot striker. Having consistent plantar fascia issues & having been in the Asics 2170 series shoe and having problems, I opted to try the Neo 33's. Having put over 200 miles in them, I can definitely say this if by far the best shoe in terms of front to back cushioning I ever been in from Asics. However, these are a different kind of support; Asics has seemingly reduced the height of the medial post, but made up for this by lengthening it out along the medial side- plantar issues resolved. That said, be prepared for a very firm ride for the first several jaunts and then life is good! Those requiring a more aggressive medial post may want to reconsider this purchase. See you at the NYC Marathon 2012 starting line!

Neo33 Mixed Review
This is a pretty good shoe for long runs though they felt a bit clunky. I think the main reason is they felt heavier than the listed weight of 10.2 oz. The shoe does provide decent support so I was a bit surprised on how flexible they were. I highly recommend you make sure you have strong calves or strengthen them before trying these shoes especially if transitioning from a traditional shoe. I have heard other runners claiming their calves got a good workout (including me). Overall, decent shoe but not sure if they were for me. Not 100% sure if I would buy them again.

I have been using the neo for some time now, second pair so I dont think i will be changing anytime soon. They seem to be a perfect fit for my feet. They aren't too soft or too hard seem just right. The only thing is the wear out quick and all of the shoes have developed a tear in the fabric at the same place right about where the little toe is. It tears all the way up.
Other than that, love them
very cool shoe
Although I usually run in Nike Lunarglides. I want an alternative, just to have a different feel. This shoe fits the bill. It's very comfortable, and the gel is amazing. I really like the "almost minimalist" feel. They do run a 1/2/ size small. I ordered these on a Thursday and got them the next day. Calif. to PA--great service, Road Runner Sports
Another great shoe from ASICS
I run 20-26 miles per week and this shoe so far has met my expectations. It is light, has great traction, and comfortable once broken in. I had to run a few times in them but after about 8-10 miles they are good-to-go. I have always liked ASICS and these are just another great product from a great running shoe company.
Great lightweight training shoe
I use these shoes for lightweight training shoes. I have worn out one pair (~200 miles - I'm hard on shoes). They are comfortable and offer a second option to my everyday running shoes. I ran one marathon in these shoes and had no issues. I bought two more pairs.
New Eagle, PA
I wear this shoes every day for running (2.5K),I run about 6 days a week. I don't feel any pain on my feet ( had surgery 2 years ago on my heal). Great ankle support!
These shoes make me wanna run everyday!!!

GOOD SHOES - INCREDIBLY UGLY LACES
JUST RECEIVED THE SHOES, RAN A FEW MILES AND AM PLEASED WITH THE "MINIMALIST" FEEL WITH JUST ENOUGH CUSH AND SUPPORT. HAD GEL BLUR EARLIER WHICH WERE GREAT SHOES BUT WITH UGLY NEON ORANGE LACES. LACES ON THESE LOOKED TAMER IN PHOTO BUT THE NEON LIME LACES ARE EVEN UGLIER THAN THE ORANGE IN FACT. EMBARASSING TO WEAR, UNPLEASANT TO LOOK AT. WILL FIND SOME BLACK OR BLUE REPLACEMENT LACES AND BE HAPPY.
LOS ANGELES CA
Used for road running. Light and well cushioned. I feel they should be ordered a full size up.
