Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-Lyte33 Running Shoe: These are great, they are light like kinvaras but they actually give you quite a bit of cushion in the heel and forefoot. They are very comfortable very flexible, give you a nice feel of the ground beneath your shoes. I have only gone on 2 5+ mile runs but i dont feel like my knees took a pounding after a run, which was not the case for the sauconys. Not sure how durable they will be, as i will likely use them off of the pavement. the rubber traction is more substantial than the kinvara3 in the forefoot.

Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-Lyte33 Running Shoe: I'm a long time Asics shoe user (mostly DS Trainers lately) and was looking for something light and with less drop. I tried a couple of models in the "33" line last year but didn't like the feel. This shoe is different-good forefoot cushion, nice rolling motion to the toe off, comfortable toebox, great fit for a low volume foot. It took a couple of long runs for the upper to soften and feel broken in but now it's my favorite shoe. It's made for pavement, not enough protection for the trails around Durango.

Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-Lyte33 Running Shoe: I first thought in buying this shoe that it would be my new shoe for racing. Turns out after just a 1 mile test drive it was uncomfortable to run in. The sole is only on the inside of the bottom of the shoe and I land on the outer edge as normal stride would go. My heel started to pain toward the end of the run, no chance in continuing the run without probably causing more harm than good. Maybe others might see it differently.
