The Kayano has always been my favorite shoe and the newly updated GEL-Kayano 19 doesn't dissapoint! I am training for the Rock 'n Roll Las Vegas in these shoes and have had no discomfort or pain in my shins, which I genreally get due to my low arches. This shoe provides great cushioning and stability. I also really like the fun new colors!

This tennis shoes are great. I love the color and way it looks. However, since I am budget concious, I decided to go with a pair that was $50 cheaper which had the same qualities to me.

My Kayano 18 shoes were needing replacing, so I opted for the 19's. Thinking that the 19 would be as great for me as the 18 I was super stoked for an easy transition. No such luck. The toe box was way too big. The cushioning felt worse than my worn out 18's and the arch support is non-existant. Just little 5 miles runs caused the balls of my feet to ache, sharp pains in my ankles as well as on the top of my feet! Running in my worn out 18's was better than these!

I was really sad to send them back... loved the color!

I love Asics Gel Kayano and couldn't be happier with the 19s. My fiance knows my size (a size up from non-running shoes) and will order me my next pair when its time because we know they're perfect for me!

Didn't have to break them in at all. From start to finish of a 7 mile run, I loved every footfall. Very cushioned and made me want to run faster than my short legs could go! I used to wear Kayanos and loved them until I got a metatarsal stress fracture. Had to switch to Asics motion control sneakers for a while. Sooooooo happy to be back in the Kayano 19's!

love these shoes, second pair, am new to brand after foot doc said get a stability shoe...........transition simple and easy........did upsize 1/2 size though. they are wonderful so far!

Just started running with my new shoes and they feel great so far. Very comfortable. Since it is early in the season for my marathon training, I may buy another pair in a few months.

Always ran in Asics. Completed my 6th 1/2 Marathon yesterday with a new PR, however my feet were on FIRE from the lack of cushioning / gel / stability in this #1 Rated shoe. My Asics gel Kayano 17 have more gel and cushion left then the Kayano 19 that aren't even 3 weeks old. I am returning the shoe. BIG thumbs down to this one..

This is the first shoe I've been able to wear for long distance walks without using orthotics (over pronate). I'm going to buy another pair now.

I love the look, and feel of these shoes. Ive had these a couple weeks now.I am a beginner in running, I am overweight (198lbs) 5'5", and it supports my weight very well. I am on a running program and currently on week 2 (run 1, walk 3 min), they seem to be doing great. I haven't had any problems so far! Would definatly recommend!

i Use this shoe to train for a marathon. I added inserts and with them the shoe fits great. Fits higher on the ankle for extra stability. I have always run in asics and have never had a problem.

I have used the Gel Kayano for years. I run 25-50 miles a week depending on the time of year and where I am in my training program. I run marathons, 1/2 marathons and triathlons. Roomy toe box, and lots of cushion are the best things about this shoe. I have average arches, normal gait, and no foot problems. I need to replace it about every 4 months. Great training shoe. It would be nice if there was a lighter color for spring.

Used to be avid athelete. Been wearing only Asics running shoes for 20 years, and Kayanos for a while. But is the forefoot getting wider in this year's shoe? It feels bigger than my last pairs. I replace insert with a spenco full length arch support, and they're pretty comfy except for space in forefoot.

These shoes literally changed my life. I was used to buying nike's all the time. I would always end my workout with blisters and numb toes. Bought my first pair of asics 2 years ago and refuse to buy any other brand or style. I love these shoes!

these offer great support. I love the way they feel and the colors are great. Love them i didn't have break them in first day I ran 8 miles in them no problem.

My last ASICS were the Kayano 17's. The 19 is definitely a lighter version, but only took me half a mile to love it just the same. Love the color, fit and style of this shoe! Still fit my feet great just like all the other ASICS I have ran in. I do replace the insoles with a little bit more of a cushion from the advice from my sports doctor.
